Lawrenceville Hotels Featuring In-Room Jacuzzis and Hot Tubs: What Guests Are Saying
As a Hilton Diamond Member, I see a lot of hotels. This one is very convenient for me, but I will look elsewhere next month. My room had obvious water damage, with repairs poorly completed. The fitness center has not been updated in decades, and is missing several dumbbells (which I have requested multiple times).
The worst part is- the desk attendants are always in their phone. They look up and say “Welcome” but go back to scrolling. I needed assistance because the app wasn’t working. I had to get her attention twice before I was acknowledged. Then I was told to clear the app; then clear all my apps because my phone was messed up; finally she looked and said “Oh, the system is down.”
I travel to north Atlanta every 2 months, but next time I will stay somewhere else.
Super clean rooms and great staff. We had a group of 23 ladies staying here for a conference and they were so organized and accommodating. They are in the middle of renovations and they made that clear to us before arriving. It did not affect our stay at all.
Was here with my family for an expo at the Gas Convention Center. Location was great – only a 20ish min walk which was nice to do every day. Hotel was under construction but price was good, our room was clean and workout room has what I needed.
Regina was outstanding, I made a reservation thru a 3 Rd party and needed to add a day. Regina helped solve the problem. The rooms were super clean . The breakfast was wonderful. Everything was the best . I would highly recommend staying there . We will be back !
Room was ok and clean (albeit a room very far away from the one I had requested a digital key for). Easy parking. Very slow and outdated elevator. Pool filter was not working and pump was not working so there were many bugs in the pool. Gym equipment was mediocre.
Absolutely horrible experience when we first entered the room it had the smell of cleaning chemical through the night. The AC was turned down and that let the room to be moldy and thus myself, and my daughter woke up with our sinuses stuffed breakfast was mediocre with the front desk lady in the evening was pleasant.
I recently stayed at this hotel while visiting town for a concert. The room was lovely, the breakfast was nice, but most importantly Regina was fantastic to speak to every single time we came into the building. She’s helpful, attentive, and her attitude is the best I’ve seen. I’ll be sure to only stay in this hotel every single time I come through the area.
The friendliest staff I’ve ever dealt with and helped with whatever we needed. I also received a text from the front desk after I got settled in to make sure everything was ok. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. My stay here was flawless. 10/10 would recommend!
There was only 1 working elevator and you have to wait minutes at a time to go downstairs or up to your room. The rooms were very clean. The continental breakfast was good. The check-in staff was great.
The service is outstanding. Getting text messages checking in on guest was a warm touch. Staff are friendly and nice. Around the clock coffee and hot water for tea is very convenient. Hotel is a bit dated in decor and has a certain odor, but relatively clean in public areas and room. We stayed on the 4th floor with 2 queen beds. There were two elevators, but one was broken the days we were there on a weekend. The one working was a bit loud in its working gear and not a smooth ride. Breakfast has lots of selection, but only tasted OK.
I really did enjoy my stay here for the most part however I never received my full deposit back I was charged $100 and only received $60 back I had to dispute with my bank and because I didn’t have a receipt I’m having a hard time with the investigation. For the most part my stay was fine. I like the convenient payment options I just wish that I hadn’t been bamboozled out of my deposit… Kind of rude and an unexpected headache
I’ve been coming here every two months now for a year from florida, for business reasons. First and foremost, they have done a lot and are still renovating, however Over the year ive stayed It gets more and more comfortable every time I come. My opinion. An amazing price for such nice clean rooms. You can’t get it anywhere else! Period. They take a lot of pride in this place.Which speaks volumes, They have always been very nice and welcoming to me. I will always stay here Whenever I have to come to georgia!
If you just booked this hotel on Expedia without looking at the reviews and then came to look at reviews and started panicking from all the 1-stars, let me just say to you that it’s going to be okay!
Would I recommend staying here? No. Was it as bad as the 1-star reviews said? No.
Front desk staff/service leaves much to be desired. They are in the middle of renovations, but we were put in a room that had seemed renovated and was pretty nice. It was clean and free of bugs, which was my main concern based on previous reviews. Breakfast is NOT GOOD, so don’t hang your hat on that.
Again, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. However, if you are like me and booked before REALLY looking at the reviews and can’t cancel, it will most likely be okay.
I’ve been staying at this hotel for several years for when I have a doctor appointment. Over the years I’ve seen some really nice upgrades and this stay was the best so far. Updated room on the 2nd floor had new paint and carpet. Furniture had been updated as well as the bedding. I was in a 2 queen bed room. The bathroom had also been upgraded with a new toilet, sink and vanity. The shower was also upgraded having taken the tub out and fitted with a walk-in shower with a sliding glass door. Thanks for the investment in this property.
This whole building needs to be demolished. Just razed to the ground. I’m baffled that this place is even available for booking on any platform. I’d be ashamed. Rundown, disgusting, broken shower rod, broken toilet seat, pubic hair on toilet seat, stained carpeting and walls, stains on the bedding, the place REEKED of stale cigarettes even though it’s posted on site it is a non smoking establishment. If that is true how are there rooms you can book that are smoking and non smoking? Make it make sense. Especially when you specifically book NON SMOKING AND FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN. how in the HELL do you thinks it’s okay to put a 16 month old baby in a room that is filthy and reeks of cigarette and beer stench ?! We were horrified. Adding insult to injury, there was no room avail with 2 beds, which is what we booked. Why rent me a room with one bed for 4 guests when I specifically booked a 2 bed room ? I know many are on a budget and this is probably the lowest price room available but it is NOT WORTH IT. pay the extra and stay at the Quality Inn. You don’t have to thank me. You’re welcome.
Front desk area look nice and clean. Elevator and hallway are dirty and smelly and absolutely need to be clean. Room is alright also the room floor is very sticky feeling seems like it has not been mop. Also found roach. No Ice machine.
The people that work here are nice, the lobby is nice. Once you get past the lobby, it’s all pretty much all downhill from there. And just so you know, I’m being nice for not listing everything that was dirty and disgusting, I don’t want to make everyone reading this throw up
I was here for one night during a family road trip…. this hotel is HORRIBLE! Hotel is understaffed, hallway is dirty, and the bedroom smells musty especially the bedding. Breakfast was not hot enough and lousy quality. Telling you, it’s one of the worst hotels I went to, do not go there again! Because this place does not have enough staff members, I think this hotel needs to shut down permanently!!!
This is probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed at to date. The hallways are disgusting, they smell horrible as well. The room was okay at first glance, but it had a smell. When we looked closer there were multiple stains on the couch, (which did not have matching cushions) and on the other chair as well. The first time turning on the shower we discovered the shower head didn’t work properly. It only sprayed water on about half of my body, and our sink got clogged for about 2 days before they sent maintenance to our room. The breakfast was also terrible, cold eggs, expired yogurt, and stale cereal. Oh yeah, they also took away the waffle maker, leaving us with disgusting “sausage” and “eggs”. Don’t come here if you don’t wanna be locked out of your room multiple times for no reason.
Pass on this hotel! It is filthy! The pool looks nice in pictures and is okay, but not in good condition. Ice machine doesn’t work. We had three people and I asked for bedding for the sofa bed but never received any. Breakfast was poor and a customer was told they couldn’t take their breakfast to their room! Mostly it was just filthy! We stay at Choice hotels most of the time and this one was a huge disappointment!
the rooms are really nice, though we did have some difficulty with the ac running very slowly and a few light bulbs that were out. the beds are clean and comfortable, so is the bathroom. the walls are a little thin so be mindful of the people in the rooms around you. the service is pretty good, as well as the breakfast. the pool is nice and clean, so is the gym.
This place is disgusting. The carpets are stained, the halls smell like urine on the second floor. Housekeeping is horrible There was hair in my bed! I requested to have the room service and it wasn’t. I asked for wash cloths, she said they are out. I booked for 5 days before getting here. I’ve been here for 2 days and I went to the front desk to checkout. The girl at the front desk told me I have to speak to the manager about getting my money back for the remainder days. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. ITS CHEAP FOR A REASON.
