Busy town on a saturday. We were fortunate to get a room. Typical Holiday Inn Express, meaning that things are about average in quality.

We were at the holiday inn express opryland Mcavoy pike for two nights we awoke to come outside around seven in the am to find my sons brand new truck and my grandsons truck along with five other cars with busted windows and articles stolen. We spoke with management there are no working outside cameras and we were told they have night security but nothing was seen. It’s very disappointing and we will never come here again.we were parked almost to the front door you would think would be safe but apparently not. Think twice about staying here because you are not protected we will pursue legally but just wanted to send out a warning.the gm is Gerald Russell .just a word of warning.

This is a nice hotel however they need more security for their parking lot!!! 5 vehicles were broken into this morning!!!! *Also not the 1st time it’s happened here!! If you stay here you need to be parked right up front or Take out all your valuables!!

Stayed here so I could walk to the Opry Theatre for a concert. Good clean room with a nice TV. Has a pool and small workout room. Breakfast was simple. I would book this place again for future concerts. I wish the Wi-FI was a faster.

This Holiday Inn Express at Opryland Nashville was the most comfortable stay I have had in years. The hotel was so clean and felt brand new. The hotel has a BP gas station next as well as a liquor store. Beyond that are multiple restaurants and some have live music. The hotel is just a half mile from the opry mills mall and the Grand Ole Opry and you can get to the mall the Grand Old Opry by way of back entrance to avoid all thr traffic. Beds wereso comfortable. This is my new favorite place to stay for business and pleasure! The staff that checked me in an out of the hotel we proud workers of their hotel and we so nice and very accommodating and professional! I plan to stay at this hotel again! Thanks for the great experience!

Spacious room. Heated indoor pool. Good gym. Small details like the towel sets and toilet paper arrangements were cool. This is a great hotel but since downtown park is not free, maybe getting a hotel there is the best option, check for that. Also, front desk people was not that friendly. AC was noisy as an airplane ? and the windows shutters were not that good. I was between 4 and 5 but I gave 4 so the hotel can improve.

Came for two day dance competition. Didn’t want to pay the ridiculous nightly price for this place, stayed across Street for less than half. The parking fee is ridiculous. It says 33 a day, but I got charged 2 different prices for 2 different days over $36. And it’s cool looking inside and huge. But the rooms look like regular rooms you’d find at a hotel. Honestly, I’m not interested in revisiting unless I have to. Oh, and they have everything there, food shopping etc. with a proud price. Tourist trap. No doubt. Not 100% sure on this, but the water park is there for an extra price on top of stay.

The accommodations were perfect. Everyone, but one worker, was excellent. Unfortunately, on our last night there, a worker named Cat approached us about having drinks in the pool. All beverages were in containers with caps or plastic cups. She then threatened us that if we didn’t leave, we would be escorted “out”.
The sign was “No glass” containers, but she said they did not say that.

She also told kids on multiple occasions that there was no splashing in the pool. They are kids!

More so, her outfit for someone working in hospitality was completely uncalled for. Let’s just say that when she approached us, we didn’t know she worked there based upon what she was wearing.

I unfortunately also witnessed her hanging up the phone on someone requesting help with their wifi access. SHAME on her..

This place is excellent! Amazing breakfast, homemade pancake maker, biscuits and gravy is amazing, so many options to choose from! Room was tip top shape, clean and spacious! Pretty decor, Christmas decor. Also nice big warm indoor pool! Very friendly staff! Would love to stay here again! Location was great! Across street from mall!

TERRIBLE stay. Bar is 1 block away, but sounds like it’s in the parking lot right outside my room. I even tried to sleep with the TV on to try to drown out the noise. The only resolution the front desk offered was to walk to other rooms in the hotel to see if I could hear the noise and decide if I should sleep there instead. It’s 11pm & after an exhausting day, I was looking forward to some rest. Unless you also want to spend the night listening to bar music, this isn’t the place to be. Do NOT recommend this hotel. First and LAST stay here.

Seemed kinda steep for a Hampton at 175 a night with all the hidden fees. They still asked for a 25 deposit for ” incidentals “.. you couldn’t order movies to room and there was no mini bar, so I wonder what the incidentals would be?.. speaking of tv, the cable had about 40 home shopping channels, 2 sports, and a constant stream of Forensic Files.
Breakfast was good, I’d say free, but there’s the whole 175 thing

The rooms were clean and roomy. Liked that the heater wasn’t noisy and kept the room at the temperature we wanted. It was furnished with a mini fridge and coffee maker but they didn’t provide tea like others usually do. Their brand of shampoo and conditioner called Zero didn’t have any fragrance or other added junk which I appreciated. The pillows were quite comfortable which was a highly unusual occurrence with hotels.
Of course, the TV selections weren’t much, and it wasn’t very clear viewing.

It would be nice if the employees would take into account that when they get travelers with kids and large groups traveling together they separate them from other customers during their stay. For instance, put the group with rambunctious kids on the other side of the hotel not next to the older couple because screaming kids and all the banging around this family woke us up!
Keeping this in mind will improve your customer’s stay. Needless to say, we didn’t get much sleep.

The breakfast was another big disappointment as well. I had hoped to eat even something small before proceeding on our long road trip yet arriving at the large group of people being extremely loud they wiped the entire room out. There wasn’t an attendant to ask for more food even though we waited awhile in hopes of getting anything after maybe a refill that never happened. Somebody should have told the group to lower their voices as well but the desk clerk wasn’t even concerned. The oatmeal said it was hot and what little I scraped out of the bottom was ice cold.

We did appreciate that we could park the towing trailer in their parking lot along with a few others and everyone still has lots of parking room.

Our plane was delayed a day. I called the hotel to let them know we’d be a day late and they said it was fine. When I got there the next day, they said I had been listed as a no-show and had cancelled my reservation, then refused to honor the original rate as the price had gone up. I called ahead specifically to avoid this situation and they didn’t care.

Not having another place to stay, we still paid the new price.

The sheets and towels were stained, the showers had zero pressure and often no hot water at all, and the air conditioning unit is the loudest I’ve ever heard. There are construction sites quieter than this unit.

If you’re looking for a quality stay at the same price point as this hotel, check out the Hilton across the street.

Very Good Hampton Inn. Hotel is a little dated but very clean and well maintained. I would stay here again. The only reason for a four star review is the office chair in my room was very worn and tattered, it belongs in a dumpster. I saw a similar complaint for this location. The young girl that checked me in was incredibly friendly and even called my room a few hours later to ensure I was doing well. I wish I would have caught her name.

Booked a room that was supposed to be a king size bed and a sofa bed. We got to our room to find a king size bed and two chairs. Went to the front desk to see where the bed was, and they said it must have been removed. She kindly brought me a portable folding bed, which I thought would have been decent. I was wrong. Unless, of course, you enjoy having the metal bars from the frame breaking your spine all night. I tossed the mattress on the floor. She was real beaut, Clark. Overall the hotel was in a good location, clean, and staff was friendly. The underwhelmed in the customer satisfaction category. Therefore, with as many hotel choices there are in the are, I cannot recommend this hotel. See photo of my prison bed they gave me

Checked into my reservation upon arrival around 5pm was met with a Woman named Kat, I believe was her name, who was EXTREMELY rude from the start. When I checked in, Kat greeted me checked my reservation and handed me keys. Once I walked into the room I realized it only had 1 bed and I had reserved 2 queens because there were 4 people in our group. Quickly I called the front desk no one answered and I was quickly put on hold for over 10 minutes. I understand it was busy so I decided to walk downstairs, when I entered the line of atleast 10 people, Kat recognized me and yelled from the desk “you already checked in, what’s the problem?” I stated I booked 2 queens in which Kat yelled back “it came across as 1 king” I quickly told Kat I have no problem discussing the issue when I get to my turn in the line and she yelled “well I can tell you right now I don’t have any queen beds, and I would hate for you to wait in line” but I did I waited for over 25 minutes as Kat was rude to other guest at the counter as well as on the phone. As I approach the desk for the second time she tells me what the policy is for when they don’t have any double queens left which is apparently to discount the room in which I was never made aware my reservation couldn’t be honored. After about another 10 minutes Kat hands me new keys and says “I was able to find two queen beds” the second room was great. After about 45 minutes of fixing that issue I thought I’d go enjoy the hot tub, unfortunately that was out of service and I was not made aware until I walked into the pool room. Disappointed to say the least. The room was great but I don’t think I would stay again due to lack of communication and not so great service. Also laundry room was out of order.

Annie is my hero, along with the person that cleaned the room! You see, I forgot my Kindle in the room, the very honest cleaning person turned it into Annie. By protocol they had a shipping company pick it up at the hotel and they shipped to me. 100 percent happy. Thanks to everyone.

Reply from the Hampton below, ask to contact them at the number below, which I tried. The girl who answered the phone said there was nothing they could do about my problem, because it was scheduled maintenance. She said she would put me to the general manager whose voicemail picked up. Never heard back after I left a voicemail. Guess they’re 100% satisfaction doesn’t mean much.

This is what we wake up to at 7:30 am. Pressure washing our window! It’s now 9:00am, and the guy is still outside our window pressure washing. The sound is deafening. This is what we pay over a hundred bucks a night for? They should know better than to put guest in rooms that will have this type of work taking place in the early morning. Hampton has always been good, but this experience has ruined that. Will not be staying with them again!
