Update: we stayed again in a double queen room in the main building. I don’t think the rooms are as nice in the main building. They need some updating. We did not have any hand soap in the dispenser. Although the night clerk was super nice, they were unable to fill it and gave us a small bar of soap. Otherwise, our stay was good. Asbury Inn & Suites suites are excellent! The room was really clean. We stayed in a suite so we had a separate area for members of the family who stay up late. It was very roomy with a nice sitting area with a pullout couch. Both areas have a door that can be closed for privacy. The location was perfect for our daughter’s orientation at Asbury and it felt like a safe area. The service was excellent. We felt very welcome and the front desk employee told our student how much she would love the university. The breakfast was good. The waffles were very good and there was a variety of items. The eggs were just okay as they were a little dry. They do not allow alcoholic beverages or smoking since it is on the seminary grounds, which was no problem for us. When we need to stay in Wilmore again, we will definitely stay here.
Friendly staff and a good breakfast. I took one star off the review because the bathroom wasn’t spotless (there was a hair in the bathroom) and the gym could use a little upkeep. The rest room was clean and tidy.
Stayed over Memorial Day weekend. Very helpful staff, very large clean rooms. Quiet. Room was very dark for sleeping. Air conditioner did not have constant fan option, but they have a very nice alarm in the room with white noise options (you can also turn the brightness on the alarm up and down, which I appreciated). Breakfast was nothing special, but coffee was excellent. Was a little worried about there being over-the-top religious material in the room, given the location, but there was nothing obnoxious. Would definitely book again.
The photos were very deceiving, the pool was very small, the room smelled bad, was small and very dark. We ended up canceling our second night and paying for only the first (even though we didn’t stay either night because we found a much better hotel at the same rate). It was poorly maintained, from the paint chipping on the exterior to the dirtiness of the floors, baseboards and carpet. This hotel is overpriced for what it is.
I was so excited to take my kids to The Ark and stay with this facility, but both my husband and I came up COVID + the day of! I know the manager Roger was not happy with the situation because it broke they’re policies but he really helped me out and so did Teresa. I am grateful and will be booking with them again.
What a pleasant surprise! We stayed here overnight as we passed through on our way to Atlanta, GA. This hotel exceeded our expectations in all aspects. The rooms were clean and extremely comfortable, with details that aren’t found at other chain hotels. Their pet friendly policy was most appreciated as We had our fur baby with us. The charge for pets was only $20, which was a welcomed surprised, as most other pet friendly hotels charge between $50 and $75. My husband and I travel all over the country for work, and all in all, this was one of the best stays we’ve had at a chain hotel. We will definitely make this our usual stop on our way to Atlanta in the future. Thank you for a most comfortable and relaxing stay that exceeded our expectations!
Very clean rooms, check in was very quick and staff was very friendly and helpful. The best part was the pool and hot tub being open so late. After a long days drive it was just the thing to work out and relax. The only negative was that the pool area needs some TLC but was very functional and safe, just older. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast was good with lots of selections. It was very conveniently located near the highway so easy to get to it and back on the highway the next day.
The pool and hottub were great, the room was spacious, the only complaint we have is the bed was terrible! It was like laying on plywood. No one slept well. So if you like extra extra firm mattresses, this is definitely the place!
Stephen was awesome checking is in after a stressful drive 3 days ago. Felt so comfy we stayed another night. On our way back I refused to go anywhere else for our stay! Thank you Stephen for showing customer service is still a priority!
Booked a King studio suite here for under a $100 dollars for my wedding anniversary. This place has all the amenities you would need for a stay. I needed a razor they had it with shaving cream for free of charge. They have a good continental breakfast also. The rooms were very clean and presentable. Will definitely come back.
One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever been to especially for the price! We spent under $100 on Priceline for 1 night for 2 adults and 1 infant. I truly have nothing negative to say about this hotel! The staff was so friendly and kind. I even called before booking to check to make sure the pool was open and the lady was so sweet on the phone! The pool + hot tub was really clean, it wasn’t huge but at one point 3 middle school aged kids, my husband, my 3 month old, and myself were all in the pool with plenty of room. The pool stays open till midnight with pool towels by the pool! It was great for what we were looking for. They have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate out all day, and I think all night. And they also have cookies out too! The continental breakfast in the morning shocked us. They had boiled eggs, biscuits, gravy (fresh made in a crockpot), sausage patties, waffle maker, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice and probably more that I missed. The rooms were pretty darn big. This hotel was just one we stopped at on our way home and if we are ever in the area we will 100% stop here again. Another huge bonus for us was checkout was at noon!! 10/10 recommend!!
Hotel staff were very friendly. Rooms were very clean. We had our dog with us and sometimes dog rooms have a smell, this one did not. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Actually going back for Breyerfest 2023. My daughter and her aunt will be staying at this Country Inn & Suites by Radisson. We love the location. The pool could use some tlc and the breakfast could use some attention! But we love it
Terese the night manager goes above and beyond ensuring we had a good stay. The room is clean, the pool ready and open, the breakfast fills you up for the day. The cleaning staff is courteous and helpful. We will be back next time we visit Kentucky. ❤️
This hotel, made ever accommodation they possible could to make sure we had fun on our trip to Railbird! The pool stayed open until midnight, so we had plenty of time, the front desk associates were so very kind along with house keeping. Every need that we needed meet was well up to our standards. I appreciate the staff here so so very much! Will stay again
The $200.00 a night bill didn’t match the appearance of hotel at all. Since there’s not a 1/2 star option I’ll stick with 2. Although a renovation had been done it was basically like putting lipstick on a pig. Exhaust grill fell out of bathroom ceiling and on my head. ( poor craftsmanship on subcontractor) Insulation went everywhere. Numerous issues with not just our room door but multiple other doors around hotel.
I will admit that the staff was genuine, helpful and hospitable.
Comfy bed , lots of towels clean room and peace of mind. Had a jacuzzi in our room. Couldn’t ask for a better get away. Friendly front desk staff makes you feel at home.
This was an amazing weekend! From the time we walked in til the time we left everything was awesome!! The ppl were great and very friendly. The room was a perfect size for my family and it was very clean! The breakfast was delicious and the hours they give ppl was great. I can’t think of one bad thing to say about this hotel. Shopping was close and restaurants were close also. If you’re going to be in that area you must stay here!!
After a long drive this is the place to come to revitalize yourself. When you call, you speak with the person who works at the location not a 1800 #. Michael at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind! The decor and two front desk Ladies truly live up to the Country feel, making us Southerners feel at home. The hot tub and pool were Wonderful, the room was clean, and the breakfast was good.
We were very pleased with our stay! It was clean, very nice room, comfortable bed and a great breakfast! Not to mention food changes daily. The staff was kind and helpful! Would definitely come back!
Room was just what we needed. We were traveling and found we were too tired to continue to our destination. Needed a nice, clean and comfortable place for the night. This fit the bill. All staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of options.
Had a great experience there. Got right into our room. A/C didn’t work and they upgraded our room to king suite with jacuzzi tub. Room was super clean and quite. Felt safe and secure. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will return and will ask for rm. # 101. Pool and hot tub were both enjoyable too.
We came in after driving a long night with our 4mo teething baby. We were exhausted and hadn’t booked a room yet. Teresa was so nice when we arrived! We were definitely impressed by the rooms. Very clean and spacious. Maybe we were exhausted, but the beds were very comfortable!
