Enjoy a family-friendly hotel featuring jacuzzis in rooms, complimentary breakfast, and an indoor pool, located just 0.5 miles from downtown Prineville.
My annual birthday stay at the Looking Glass was fantastic as always. The room was very clean and the maid service checked in with me each day to check if I needed anything. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I have stayed here multiple times over the years and have always had a great experience. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I have stayed with pets and the staff has been so supportive. The location is great with just an easy, short walk to the beach and to food and groceries. Always my first choice for staying in Lincoln City.
Our stay was amazing! If you have pets, this is a great place! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The rates were reasonable (stayed in December). The staff were awesome as though they actually enjoy their job:) I’d definitely stay here again!
So nice to return here in the midst of a long roadtrip. Comfortable, familiar, welcoming. A really nice, pet friendly place staffed by kind people. We’ve been staying here a couple times a year for decades and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. The rooms are clean and there are several very comfortable chairs to sit in while gazing out the windows. A favorite place!
Great stay at the Looking Glass again. They were so helpful when it came to small things like borrowing roasting sticks to make some smores. Room was clean and comfortable. Only draw back was some loud vehicles cruising during the evening (or looking for parking) on a busy weekend. We love our visits here and we will be back!
Great location, very helpful staff, and clean rooms. A great place to bring your pets (a special pet package for you when you arrive!) as the beach is just across the street for long walks. Most of the rooms have a view of Siletz Bay. The breakfast bar has a typical, nice variety of offerings.
A great location, across the street from the beach and Moe’s, and a wonderful, clean room with a sweeping view. The boys woke up early to enjoy the Continental breakfast. This is a great place to stay in Lincoln City. AND, it’s dog friendly!
What a great location, staff and wonderful rooms with wonderful views! Couldn’t be happier or more pleased with this place. This was our 1st visit to this coast location and we’ve spread the word how convenient it is to crabbing, fishing, kids swimming and agate hunting. Definitely returning!! Oh, and dog friendly, too. Next time our labs will be with us!
This has become our fave place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Great staff. Lovely views. Easy access to the beach. Food and shops within walking distance. They provide a lot of extras for kids and pets. Nice propane fire pit, crab cleaning station, pet area.
My wife and I loved our stay here. It was perfect for a quick and quiet beach weekend. We will definitely stay here again! The room was nice especially for the price we paid. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect!
I love it! I’ll definitely be back. The room is homey and clean. I used to work at a hotel so I am super picky about the cleanliness of the rooms and I could not find a flaw. I felt totally comfortable and I loved listening to the waves. I should have checked the location beforehand, though, as it is right next to a super busy public beach and restaurant. I had no issue with this, but it did lead to a little extra traffic noise. Nothing that bothered me and it quieted down well before I went to bed.
Y’all this is the cutest place ever. Very dog friendly and the beds are fantastic. Room 215 great view.. great bathtub.. go on book it for a weekend it will do you good. The nicest front desk and the best customer service there is. Great location to enjoy and close to everything.
We stayed here for a couple of nights. In addition to being a great place to stay near the beach, the facility seems to have thought of all the little things to make people feel at home – beach toys for kids, a grassy area for pets to do their business, an outdoor place to cook crabs, and a ‘hose off’ area for people to rinse their shoes and feet after the beach. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return.
Haven’t been here in 15 years so decided to try it for our 15th wedding anniversary. Staff checking in was super nice. The beds are uncomfortable, the fire place didn’t turn off even with off switch so kept coming on all night so had to sleep with window open to hear people digging through trash at Moe’s and the hotel, no A/C in the room just a box fan. The stairs are literally 10-12 inches in depth and pretty steep so have to be careful coming up and down then, our dog was petrified of the stairs. The bathroom fan was so loud you could here it outside and I thought the shower water was going to throw me through the wall. Parking is super tight especially with a truck. Great location though, gift basket with supplies for dog and a couple of Hershey kisses with a Happy Anniversary note. It was a decent stay, not the worst not the best. We’ll probably try somewhere else next time though.
We have stayed several times in the pet friendly king rooms. The rooms are nice and the spa tub is wonderful for relaxing. Views are amazing and the beach access is perfect. I appreciate the option for a more gradual sloping access. The pet goodies bag is awesome and other places need to step up their game to this level!
If you stay here in the summer (at close to $500 per night) don’t count on sleeping well, the rooms are not air conditioned, and are quite stuffy. Also this chain is pulling the same shenanigans its location in Cannon Beach, you can’t book one night if you are outside a certain time window. We have stayed here every year for the last 12 years and won’t be coming back. Prices are too high, they charge you the full fee at the time of reservation and customer service is not anywhere close to what it used to be. And don’t bother emailing either Eric or Danielle, they won’t respond, a few years ago if you had an issue, they sent out a 50% off coupon the same day, they are probably using one of those phony review services (which are now illegal) anyway.
We stayed in the Admiral King Suite and it was a beautiful room. The room was SUPER clean. We loved the fireplace and the ocean view. The bed was very comfortable.
The only dislike was that the room was SO hot and didn’t have AC. At one point we looked at the thermostat at it was 78 degrees. For us, that’s too warm to have a good night sleep. The only way we could cool the room down was to open the sliding door and place the box fan (located in the closet of the room) in front of it and have the ceiling fan on. It didn’t cool the room down well but we looked at the thermostat again in the morning and it was 74 degrees. That’s the only reason why we took a star off.
Would we stay here again? No, simply because we didn’t sleep well. Would we stay here if there was AC in the room? Absolutely.
I was in the US for almost 6 weeks and stayed in nearly 10 hotels and this is probably the best one. Here are a few things that were great: -Huge, easy parking near the rooms -Super smooth check-in. The person that checked us in clearly loved her job with her almost comical, overly enthusiastic (albeit slightly cringey) explanations of the services. A very good sign when the front-desk is so cheerful! -A good gym -A decent heated pool and spa -Free coffee near the lobby! This was AWESOME! -Incredible views from the lobby and the rooms -Extremely clean rooms – one of the cleanest hotels I’ve been in for a long time -Good prices -Big rooms
My only complaint is that the rooms felt kind of characterless and sterile, but if sterile = clean, I’m good!
AMAZING. We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. We just got back from a short trip. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff are exceptional. The room was spotless, housekeeping staff always so polite and accommodating. The front desk is always so welcoming and genuine. This place maintains their high level of customer service at a consistent pace which is so rare! Georgie’s food, outstanding! Such a treat having it delivered to our room so we can stay in with our pup. Can’t wait to go back!
Absolutely stunning! There is no bad view and there is beach access close. The room was more than expected. It was a dream with a fireplace and jacuzzi in the room. The hotel treated us to a complimentary bottle of champagne for my girlfriends birthday. We had stellar room service from Georgie’s right next door! In 30 minutes we had a 5 star meal! Magical stay! We’ll be returning as soon as we can.
Nice size rooms with fireplace & tv in cozy seating space. The shower could use a good beach to clean the mold off of the grout though. Clean otherwise. Beautiful ocean view from our room on the top floor. We made good use of the elevator & the food at Georgie’s restaurant, right next door, was good. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time if you’ll be eating there. We look forward to our next visit there with family.
