Top Toronto Hotels with In-Room Hot Tubs: What Guests Are Saying

Only wish I could have stayed longer…
The only thing exceptional about the room was the size of the luggage/closet area and the bathroom amenities. The bed and desk area are nothing special and quite small. The bed mattress was overly worn and sagging in the middle, making for an uncomfortable nights sleep.
The toilet paper was so thin you could see through it.
During our visit the spa/gym, it took 5 attempts and assistance from 2 hotel staff members to get us to the spa/gym floor. We were informed the elevator often malfunctions and causes issues getting to this area. It was very frustrating.
The doorman was very friendly and always there to assist and chat with us.
We brunched at the hotel restaurant and the service was good, the atmosphere was good, the food was ok.
The hotel is in a walkable area for plenty of shops and restaurants. Felt like a safe area.
If I return to Toronto, I would find elsewhere to stay as this hotel is overpriced for what is provided.
One Restaurant downstairs… I think is one of the best in Toronto. Especially the way the foie gras is prepared and their infamous lobster spoons!!!
No better hotel / restaurant / ritzy bar in the heart of our beautiful Yorkville !
A restaurant and hotel guest for over 8 years and will continue to be
I did lean on the concierge multiple times for advice, and all three were delightful. Most importantly, they booked me a 5:15am ride to the airport that went beautifully. Overall we spent five nights here and could’ve easily stayed several more. Toronto is an amazing city.

1) the room that we were upgraded to was an accessible room and we would’ve much rather preferred a non-accessible room due to the shower situation and how low a lot of the room fixtures were (my boyfriend and I are on the taller side so we noticed this immediately)
2) I always opt for late check-outs (usually around 4pm) and on our last day of the trip our keys stopped working. We went to the front desk to get new keys because we figured they stopped working at 11am since that’s when people normally check-out, but when we got to the front desk the agent said our keys stopped working because we could only be in our suite until 1pm. It wouldn’t have been a problem, ACCEPT the agent who checked us in said nothing about that (who’s was great by the way. He was super efficient and pleasant), and my Marriott app clearly stated the hotel accepted my request for a 4pm late checkout. I even selected that a few days in advance of arrival to make sure they could accommodate us. That agent then told us that we could either check-out completely or she could check us into a room for the remainder 3 hours. I said we’ll check into another room, but that has never been the case at any Marriott I’ve stayed at, and I travel fairly often and ALWAYS opt for late checkouts as it’s a perk of being an Elite member! And, that has to be one of the most ridiculous policies (if it actually was a policy and not the agent making one up) because it would cause the housekeeping team to clean two rooms and cause an inconvenience to the guests! After that we still needed to go get our luggage from our old suite, and she would not give us new keys to go up and grab our stuff. Instead we needed to meet the bellman and then go on two elevators to get to our basic room. This whole process from the time we left to go to the front desk to the time we finally moved all of our stuff and left the hotel took approximately 45 minutes to an hour. That may not seem like a lot time, but that was our last day on our trip and we had so many activities we wanted to fit in before we left Toronto.
It really was an extreme inconvenience, and I highly suggest that either the hotel doesn’t allow late checkout or to train their staff on Elite membership benefits. I will continue to be a proud and loyal Marriott member, but I will not be staying at the Delta hotel again.
The hotel room was spacious (As compared to other hotels).
The breakfast was well prepared and had good options for a breakfast buffet.
Now the location is good, and the food quality is good, but does the steep price justify the good (but not fabulous) quality of the hotel ?? The hotel desk staff did not offer much help in directions for the nearby stuff (But the valets were helpful) .
$35 for breakfast seems expensive for one person, and the room cost can range from mid $400s to $600 per night.
We arrived and were greeted so warmly, like we were returning VIP guests. Prior to check in, notified concierge via email that we were celebrating my son’s birthday and he was ecstatic to find a beautiful card & birthday cake dessert waiting in the room for us. It was absolutely delicious and a work of art! Our room is immaculate and very comfortable. The view of the harbor from the huge windows in is incredible! We’ve enjoyed the pool, steam room and jacuzzi – especially love the gorgeous view at night from the 4th floor pool. Staff has been lovely.
