Would give negative stars if I could! Absolute worst most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Stay away!!! Let me see how many things I can list: bugs all over (including cockroaches), shattered window that had blue painters tape over it, entire floor sloped so the dresser drawers didn’t stay shut, there were pieces of cardboard under the tv stand and desk to try and flatten it out and when attempting to sleep your head is lower then your legs due to the beds sloping down with the floor! There was food of some sort on the ceiling. The A/C would not stay on so it was hot and smelled. The trash wasn’t emptied. The floors were beyond gross. The bathroom faucet handles could be turned in a 360° circle so it was a guessing game as far as getting the water shut off. The supposed hair dryer was easily from the 1950’s and caked in dirt. The elevator broke down so we had to drag heavy luggage 4 floors. Nobody spoke English, couldn’t understand a single worker. Forget sleeping between the bugs, blood rushing to your head, and oh yeah the doors to all rooms don’t just close but they SLAM shut at all hours. Could not get out fast enough! Still grossed out after a 30 minute hot shower once back home! Washing every single piece of clothing that went with us, hoping we didn’t bring any bugs back home!! Do not even think of staying at this place!!!

Stayed due to closeness to the KATY trail. I would not recommend. Looks like the renovation has been in progress for over a year based on other reviews. “Breakfast” is offered, some cereal and mini cinnamon rolls. Some fruit, but tasted dirty. Hopefully renovations give some much needed improvement.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I recognize that they’re renovating, but that doesn’t excuse that they have just let the hotel deteriorate so badly. The outside pool was close on a hot September long weekend. There’s only one elevator of the two that works and the fire warning about taking the stairs is taped to the panel. Someone has drawn on the inside of the door in the dirt a big heart. The floor of the elevator doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in a very long time too. In my room, the carpet was so dirty that you didn’t dare walk anywhere without your shoes on. The TV did not work. The fridge didn’t close, didn’t cool and had insects inside. The TV screen and every mirror was streaked and filthy, in desperate need of a good cleaning. The bathtub had head hair, pubic hair and whiskers in it, with a long string of hair hanging from the soap dish. In the morning when I turned on the light insects scampered away to hide. I stepped on a few because I was wearing my shoes. There was no daily housekeeping service and the bed was not made and the insects were still on the floor and the hair was still in the bathtub. I will say, yes I stayed two nights, but I debated back and forth about leaving early. As I read this I wonder why. I had paid for two nights well ahead of time. The sheets on the bed were clean despite there being a stain on the duvet cover. It had at least been washed. The AC worked, but blew little white specks on the carpet when I started it, to join other specks which had never been vacuumed up after the last person was there. I did not check the breakfast out after having read previous reviews. I didn’t check out the hot tub or indoor pool because of the poor housekeeping and maintenance of the rest of the property. The location is terrible. It’s not within walking distance of any cafe, or convenience store or gas station, and there is no restaurant on site. They sell snacks and WARM pop at the desk. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I found this old gal of a hotel to be previously elegant with hope of a respectable up cycle.
I booked through Hotwire so I didn’t know where I was going till I paid. Then I read the reviews and I was horrified. Some of the criticisms were true but I wouldn’t have noticed them on my own without the bad reviews. There were no bedbugs (I always check before settling in).
I think if people are going to be so icky picky they should bring their own maid or pay more for their hotel.
My room was comfortable and clean. There were a few smudges on the walls, mainly in the bathroom.
The pools were indeed dank and unusable for now.
The breakfast was packaged sausage biscuits, fruity yogurt, cereals and muffins/ sweet rolls. With some small unappealing apples. I didn’t go near the Sunny-D. Coffee is available extended hours in the lobby.
While I was there the exterior work was completed and the hotel plans to close for interior renovations 2024 March to September. After that I doubt I’ll be able to afford to stay there!
This is the first place in a while where I did NOT smell marijuana and I appreciated that!

I’ll never stay here again, I stayed for one night. First, let me start with the outside. The outside pool was closed and the inside pool was small 3 ft to 4ft 12in deep and the hot tub was filthy and not working. Disgusted about that. Building is under construction.
Now for the inside, I walked in and its under construction as well. The bathroom in my room wasn’t cleaned to well, it had strands of hair and all the mirrors were dirty, wasn’t wiped to good. The dresser draws kept coming open where they put a business card to hold it in placed but it kept coming open. Breakfast? was a joke, they only had powdered donuts, cinnamon rolls, a gallon of juice and milk, the cereal was in containers and had ants crawling on the counter. Checked out way before 11 and went to McDonald’s. You get what you pay for.

Really run down and dirty. No housekeeping while we were out today. Has a musty odor. The falcon diner has been closed and a hot breakfast with table service has been replaced with a limited breakfast menu and counter service with paper plates. Sports bar food service was slow and food mediocre. Management is cutting corners and has ruined a good weekend getaway. Check-in staff was rude and tried to charge an $85 early chech-in fee an hour before 4pm. Fire alarm went off in my room and it took staff 15 minutes to respond. Glad it was not a real fire. Should be given a refund.

Had lots of fun went on my birthday and one around $800 within the first 20 minutes of being there. When I tried to cash in my ticket one of their machines gave me some troubles but they were quick and really friendly and helpful to resolve the issue. I would definitely recommend this to anyone had a great time

Just a walk through the casino to get to and from the poker room, but was impressed with what I saw. Floor looked clean and well kept. Staff I spoke to getting directions to the room were all very friendly and helpful. There were a lot of machines, but only saw a very few number of tables. Poker room is on the smaller side. Two tables going when I got there. Went down to one shortly after. Floor said it is busier on the weekend. Decent action. Some were there playing bingo and shoving with anything, but a fun and friendly table.

I don’t typically write reviews, but I feel people should understand what they are getting into when they stay here. First off, do not show up before 4pm unless you want to pay $89 to access a room. I understand early check in is not guaranteed anywhere, but I have never stayed anywhere that would not check you in at 3:15pm when they have an abundance of rooms available. Prior to arrival I had checked in online and notified the property of my arrival time. Never was I informed of this check-in policy and could have easily adapted my plans for a later arrival. Beyond this, house keep and room condition is extremely lacking at the property. There were multiple stains on the living area furniture. There were only two pillows for a king sized bed, I requested extra pillows be delivered multiple times during my two night stay, but they never showed up. There were also no fitted sheets on the king bed. The bathroom was lacking in maintenance and upkeep. Water pressure in the shower was non existent, and the water temp was barely warm. Found this odd as the tub and sink both had extremely hot water. Overall the experience could be compared to a Red Roof Inn at the price of a Marriott Grand.

On the positive side of the property, the sports bar and steakhouse both had good food, and exceptional service. The pool area was nice, although the hot tubs were lacking some general maintenance. The casino floor was also very nice, plenty of slot machine options and lots of table game space.

Amazing all the way around!! The staff is super nice!! The bathrooms in the rooms are fabulous!! Took a bubble bath, and OMG I was so relaxed, I didn’t want to get out. Water pressure in the stand up shower was perfect! Beds are super comfortable, even the pillows were comfortable as ever! There was even a safe in the room, only downside was no microwave, but it was a perfect room!! The view of the river was nice ?. Don’t get me started on how dark the room gets with the curtains closed, perfect for dark room sleepers ? ?!!
