Stayed here for a weekend to try out the night life. The hotel was very accommodating. The staff were amazing and you could tell they love there jobs. Coming from the service industry myself that is very telling to how the management runs the place, which is to say very good. I will definitely be making this my go to stay whenever I visit. I will say that I booked through Expedia and the pictures they have on Expedia don’t do the place justice.
Lovely hotel with excellent service. Staff provided exceptional service and were accommodating with requests. Restaurant and bar had very good food and attentive staff. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Large rooms with very comfortable beds. The only negative is that some of the room amenities are in need of updating (ie – Home-branded alarm clock had outdated Apple charger and no USB ports in rooms).
Visited the hotel for a conference. It was excellent! We’ll set up and the food, and snacks were delicious. Very well organized. Would definitely recommend, and for any event you need to host.
Overall a nice property and great staff. However the elevators were having issues with buttons not working; my tub drain needed clearing out BADLY, piece of dog kibble in my room…. Drain was dealt with promptly and worked perfectly after. Catering for the conference was very tasty. Healthy options provided. Bar staff were friendly. Great location to walk to Old Montreal, shopping, etc.
Very spacious rooms. Comfortable beds and pillows. Overall, it’s clean, the rooms could use a tiny bit of updating. Outstanding service overall. The bar and restaurant staff were amazing, and the concierge was great. The pool was not operational at the time of our visit, which was disappointing. Great location. Walking distance to everything. I would definitely return to this hotel.
This is quite a charming little hotel and the staff are very courteous and helpful. They had informed us ahead of our visit that it can be very difficult to secure reservations at restaurants around Christmas and provided a list of the ones that were operating during the season. Our room was quite comfortable, and refreshed daily, coordinated for when we were out. Breakfast provided by 7am, in insulated bags hung outside each room, consisted of muffins, breads and croissants with jams and butter, bottles of orange juice, and cream for the coffee machine in room. On Christmas morning, we found chocolate bombs with our breakfast as well – what a wonderful little surprise! Our room was stocked with a mini bar, fridge, microwave and toaster oven. Plates, cups and silverware are in the room. Considering the convenient location, comfort and cleanliness, and the warmth exuded by the staff, we would certainly book with them again on our next visit to Old Quebec!
Loved the place!! Close to everything you would want to see and comes with convenient (paid) parking. They provide coffee and tea throughout the day, very friendly staff and the breakfast was included in our stay. Make sure you read the room details, they are small but I knew it going in and have no complaints. I will be coming here again !!
Positive overall experience for a 3 stars hotel but a lot of improvements to handle. + : the front desk is absolutely formidable (welcoming, enthusiastic and very helpful), location is great, parking is easy – : our rooms were not very clean and the linen a bit smelly, the breakfast is very limited (but delivered to your room). So I would have rated 5 stars if the cleanliness was up to the expectations.
We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The room was clean and comfortable and having breakfast delivered to the door was a real treat. The location is on the edge of the old city and very quiet. The staff were really accommodating with excellent restaurant recommendations, parking and generally friendly service. We would stay here again!
Hotel is centrally located: we have easily walked to St-Jean-Baptiste and St-Roch besides Old Quebec. That means access to more affordable restaurants. It’s easy to get to this hotel from the airport via public transport, and to head for our next destination via the train station that is round the corner. The colors and furnishings in our room are on the darker side; bathroom amenities are adequately provided and clean. I used the gym – which is clean and provides a good range of dumbbells. I remember fondly of its staff: everyone is eager to give tips on what to check out in the city, eager to chat, and cheerful. Due to my early flight, I got in a few hours before 3:00p. The staff helped me with an early check-in that gives me an extra 1/2 day to check out the sights worry free. I am glad I picked this hotel during my 4 days in Quebec City.
