I found myself walking quite a distance to the conference center, which felt like it was miles away from the main building. However, the food provided during the event was significantly better than what I typically encounter.

To my surprise, when I used a black light in my room, the bed, cabinets, and television were all free of germs. However, two aspects prevented me from giving it a full 5 stars: the absence of room service and the lack of breakfast on the first day. Additionally, the hotel is somewhat distant from dining options. The valet area is limited to just 10 cars, so if it’s full, you’ll need to park about 70 yards away.

It’s clean, and while the common areas show some age, the rooms are modern, tidy, and feature lovely bathrooms along with excellent climate control. The staff is not only friendly but also efficient. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was daily housekeeping, which greatly enhanced my comfort during the stay. If your conference is at the center, you can enjoy a covered walkway leading there. Plus, it’s just a 2-mile walk to a nearby mall with fantastic restaurants and shopping options.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and it was refreshing to hear polite phrases like “yes sir” instead of casual responses. The food was prepared to perfection, leaving no room for complaints. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Hyatt Lodge without hesitation; it truly is one of the finest venues I’ve experienced.

Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Rooms are renovated, but the vinyl floors are improperly installed. It’s kinda rough on bare feet. Very clean, quiet, and friendly!

Do not stay here! Our room was filthy, moldy, and had bugs.

The lobby was unairconditioned on a hot day and smelled musty. Our room was in the basement and the musty smell continued as we went downstairs. The air conditioning was not on it our room upon arrival even though it was very moist and humid there, as evidence by the mold growing in the picture frame hanging on the wall.

The floor had not been vacuumed between guests or for some time as there was debris and dead bugs all over the floor and window sill. Some live bugs crawling on the floor. The room had uncovered outlets, stains, and poorly done paint touch ups throughout.

The bathroom did not appear to have been fully cleaned as we were missing some towels. We did not bother inspecting the bedding as the room was too nasty for us to stay there.

The whole place needs to be inspected by the health department ASAP!

No, Rohan, that is not accurate. Rest assured, I have spoken to the Mgr and let him know as well. I have proof that the funds have been debited twice and if they are not returned, not only will I stop payment on this transaction, I will file a police report as well.

With the name Best Western, I assumed it would be more “luxurious” than other named hotels. This one was not.

Room – 2 of 3 lamp bulbs were burnt out and their was no entry light at all so it was very dark when walking in. Visible stains on blankets, bathroom set up not accommodating for young kids, and lighting was terrible.

Breakfast – unless you get there between 6 and 7, you won’t get much. We got there at 8 and nothing but cold cereal and bread left. One of the reasons I chose to stay put of the city was for parking and breakfast included, we needed up paying for breakfast anyway.

Service – front desk staff not very welcoming. No ice when we went to fill out bucket, needed more towels and it was like we asked for the world.

Lastly, upon check in I was informed of a $50 hold on top of room fee, and that it would he released upon check out. So I had a hold of $244.02 on my card starting 8/14. Upon check out on 8/16 I was charged $194.02 again reducing my bank account total, $438.04. Then at 845 PM on 8/17 someone ran my card AGAIN for another $194.02. I immediately called and the lady argued with me cutting me off telling me intended to call my bank. That no one ran my card again. Thus brings the total to $632.06 that was HELD on my card for $194.02 stay. I have stayed at ALOT of hotels and I have NEVER had more than charge to my card. There is absolutely no reason to hold 3 times the amount of my stay. This is literally $438.04 of my money tied up, I have bills to pay and are coming out and the money is not there.

I always stay here when passing through the area. One of the few Best Westerns that still has a staff member who will make an omellet for you for breakfast, right there in front of you.
Mind you this is not a five star luxury hotel but it gets five stars for what it is and the attentiveness and friendliness of the employees.
They are still catching up with the times so they could use a few car charging stations in the parking lot.
They’ve been renovating a lot of the rooms and the new ones don’t have wall to wall carpeting anymore and to me that’s a good thing but they need to use a dust repelling floor cleaner as they are right off the highway. The parking lot rooms are quiet; don’t know about the highway side rooms as I’ve never stayed in one.

Receptionist could not figure out how to apply a corporate discount code. She hung up on me after trying for a few minutes. There’s a corporate number you can use that knew what they were doing – not sure why she wouldn’t just forward my call or give me that phone number if applying a corporate code was beyond her. Other than that, quality of room fit the price point. Convenient location near the airport.
