I searched and found the Inn on Booking.com, coming into a country and town i didn’t know and at almost midnight, I needed somewhere close to the airport and with free airport shuttle. I let myself in at midnight, lovely antique-like furnishing. Climbed up the stairs (with anti slip mat) into a spacious room and quite clean. Nothing like a great heater in the awful cold, lovely bath and a soft bed. Breakfast was simple and the hosts were very supportive and helpful in every way they could. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.
The Auberge Wild Rose Inn is a gem of a boutique hotel. It is extremely well located, should you be flying in or out of the Moncton airport. Just a few minutes drive from the airport. You can arrange parking, airport pickup and drop-off with Dennis, the owner. It is a wonderful treat to be able to easily communicate with the owner, who is very quick to respond to “any” questions or requests you may have. The Inn is spotlessly clean, the rooms wonderfully decorated, beds comfortable, and the hotel is peaceful and quiet. The delicious breakfast is well laid out with many options to choose from like fresh fruit, croissants, cereal, eggs, cheese, coffee etc. The Inn itself is welcoming, but it is truly the owners that make it an extra special treat. Something quite different than the chain hotels. You’ll be well treated, relaxed, and rested, should you ever take the opportunity to stay with Dennis at his wonderful property.
To be honest, we had expected more. The room was okay but did not blow our minds, and the whole place had a funny smell. Not great for light sleepers as you hear everything from other guests and the central heat is fairly loud when it starts up. The cold breakfast was adequate.
We had an excellent birthday getaway at this fabulous Inn. Dennis and Regina were great hosts and welcomed us as if we were family. The Inn is beautiful and our room was large, beautiful and very clean. We were treated to a very nice continental breakfast. We had asked for an evening meal, and was served was beyond our expectation; the salmon was delicious.
We had not stayed at the Wild Rose before, but we will be staying there again in the future. Our hosts, Regina and Dennis treated us like royalty. Our room was welcoming, with its propane fireplace and the jacuzzi in the bathroom; not to mention the added little touch of a CD player in the room and a Vera Lynn disc. The location is nice. It was quiet and yet only minutes from downtown Moncton. We have and will recommend it to others.
The room was a sophisticated room with beautiful antiques, a gas fireplace, and a firm bed, making it very comfortable. It’s close to downtown Moncton, and it’s beautifully lit and has plenty of restaurants, so I enjoyed walking around. The owner’s warm smile and thoughtfulness were wonderful. Highly recommended. We would like to come again in the summer.
My boyfriend and I booked a room at the Wild Rose Inn for 1 night, we loved the atmosphere the room and the service so much me had to book another night! The room was very clean great price for such a big room, a jacuzzi a fireplace and the most comfortable king sized bed! We will definitely be back and definitely recommending the Wild Rose Inn! Thank u for the great stay.
This place is amazing. Located in the outskirt of Moncton, it truly gives you the sense of country side of New Brunswick with their magnificent weeping willow all over the back yard. The service is excellent and the room are gorgeous and clean. The bed is so comfortable, I slept for 6 hours straight before to wake up for normal needs. I highly recommend this Auberge over any place I have been before. May they continue to be prosper! Thank you for your service and having me as a guess!
Most comfortable bed I ever had. I stayed two nights here and I will come back every year in the future. You only need to stay here one night to decide to come back again. It’s super clean. And everything is very thoughtful. I love the antiques collections. I’m so surprised with the cheap price since it’s such a luxury hotel. There is also a huge garden. And there is a private trail in the woods. Had a nice chat with the owner Regina and her husband. They’ve been running the hotel for more than 10 years now. And they put so much effort to decorate every room. They run the hotel as home not just as business. Looking forward the next visit.
The room was clean and spacious. The location is 10 minutes or so from dining venues in Moncton. I admit I am puzzled by the 5/5 reviews. The breakfast was pretty awful – cheap grocery store baked goods and a limited selection of unripe fruit; even the coffee was meh. If an inn bills itself as a B&B, at this price it needs to put some effort into the 2nd B. Glad we were only there one night.
We were greeted in the lobby by the lovely lady who, with her husband, run the inn. They’re a lovely couple that bend over backwards to make your stay an experience rather than just an overnight hotel room. I was there for 2 nights and chatted with each of them a few times and they were really down-to-earth people, the kind of people you’d like to enjoy the company of many, many times. The inn is immaculate, the gardens are beautiful and the historic antiques create an ambiance that is warm and comforting. I will recommend the Auberge Wild Rose to all of my friends who travel to Moncton.
Highly professional service, always a pleasure to deal with. I’ve stayed here multiple times and will definitely do so again. Spotless rooms, plenty of amenities, convenient parking. Top notch!
There was a Hockey Team (I assume hockey) at the hotel the same night. Some of them had a room right next to mine. A bunch of them decided to congregate outside my room in the hallway. They were yelling, and banging and knocking, and fighting, and running up and down the hallway. I know they were just teens, but it was very disrespectful. They sounded like they were in my room it was so loud. If they were in a room it wouldn’t have been too bad, but sound in hotel hallways echos. I called the front desk about it twice. The first time they didn’t answer. The second time they said they were keeping an eye on them, but it was at least another hour before anyone came up and said anything to them. And as soon as the hotel worker walked away, they just went back to what they were doing. When I checked out the next morning, the person at the front desk said it was like this every Friday and Saturday during the winter months. (I was there on a Thursday, but there was a PD day). You would think that if this happens every weekend, they would have a better handle on things. They should dedicate a floor just to Hockey teams, or two floors if they take up more then one. They should talk to their Chaperones and Choachs, and get them to deal with it. They should have security there on those nights to make sure there’s no one in the halls. There are many ways to help this situation, and they just don’t seem to care about their other guests. I get that these hockey teams probably spend a fortune at these hotels, so they can’t lose them as customers. But there are still ways to fix it for other travelers who are hoping to have a quiet night in a hotel. I love Hampton hotels. But unless I find myself traveling during the week again, I don’t know if I’ll be going back. Maybe every hotel is like this. IDK. But you think they would care more is all. Try to make the night good for every guest.
We LOVED this hotel! Staff were friendly and helpful with questions, and we weren’t bothered or made uncomfortable when using the pool or workout space. Rooms were clean, TV was huge and very good, we didn’t see any personal temperature dials but the hotel is kept at a good temperature anyways. Breakfast was great with lots of options and even GF and Vegan options. Location is a bit of a distance from the main city, so wouldn’t be walkable for most.
Trying to have a relaxing weekend with my family. We have twin boys and it was their 6th birthday. They put us on a floor with this old woman who complained about or kids being loud the whole time wasn’t relaxing at all! And to top it off my wife filled out a survey saying or stay wasn’t great and general manger calls to get mad. Won’t be staying here ever again and if you have kids I wouldn’t recommend it!
Great stay at the Hampton Inn on Mapleton! Many thanks to the wonderful front-desk staff (Jackie & Amy) for exceptional service and remedying the issue with our room. The hotel itself is very clean and the breakfast had good variety and good coffee! The King suite at this location is a treat. Spacious and well designed, with a nice kitchenette. We all slept soundly on both nights. The pool and slides were a hit with my kids, and the gym was well equipped. Jackie really took the time to provide a good overview of Moncton and its main attractions as well as suggest possible dining options. She also gave us a nice top level highlight of the hotel and all- in-all a wonderful individual. Hampton Inn is lucky to have her at front-desk – welcoming, friendly, and most helpful.
Check-in at the desk was made easier booking through Expedia. Clerk at the counter was very nice and friendly. Nice spacious room. Comes with a small fridge. AC unit doesn’t have a remote, which is fine. Washroom is clean but has no fan, so it fills with steam while showering. Wide counter, one sink. Shower is in a bathtub. We’re happy with the room, location, and service.
We just drove from South Florida to Canada with our dogs. Most hotels we have to stay in are less than desirable This Hampton is incredible. Clean, nice staff and great room. Fun to see all the kids loving the pool and the tube slide.
Note to dog owners: I was so disappointed in my fellow dog owners that guests don’t pick up their dog waste. I did my best to clean up but come on dog parents! If we don’t clean up after our pets we won’t get to stay in these nice places.
