I came a few days ago because I am studying interior architecture. I wanted to see the restaurant and the lobby, I was very poorly received by the two doormen, reminding me that we were in a 5-star hotel and disfiguring me from head to toe. I’ve never seen that. Maybe the rooms are good, the reception did the same thing to me. Very disappointed. I wasn’t dressed badly, I just wanted to get information for an assignment.
Absolutely worth the added cost over comparable hotels in the area, the location is near perfect for shopping and a short walk to any restaurant outside of old Montreal as well as McGill. The rooms and service are amazing, staff is very friendly and responsive. The only knock is the windows are very poorly insulated against noise from street level, on floor 5 I woke up multiple nights to sounds from the street that felt like I was right beside what was happening, disappointing but overall an incredible hotel.
Had a king bed suite, my wife and I brought our 15 y/o granddaughter for nearby shopping…very convenient for that purpose. Master bedroom, living room with sleeper sofa, kitchen/dining area all very nice. Master bath had large jacuzzi but no shower. There was a hand held sprayer in the jacuzzi but it was difficult to get in jacuzzi and there was no shower curtain to contain the water spray. Bathroom in living room area had very small shower stall that we had to use. Would suggest getting rid of jacuzzi and installing a shower stall. Sleeper sofa was old and very uncomfortable for granddaughter sleeping. We can say that everything was spotlessly clean, and the valet and front desk personnel were extremely helpful and friendly. Would stay here again, but in a different room.
Canceled our reservation at the bar/restaurant at the last minute. not serious. Not serious. Don’t waste your time, there are other great choices elsewhere.
Location, location, location. You could not ask for a better location than the Vogue Montreal. Located in the heart of Downtown Montreal across the street from a luxury department store. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. My fiancé and myself missed our connecting flight due to weather and the hotel did not charge us for the missed the day even though we did not provide proper notice. The room was beautiful, modern and clean. If you order room service, make sure to take advantage of the truffle fries.
It’s my go to when I come to Montréal. The staffs are so attentive, their friendly smiles, kind gestures – offering to store my things in a safe place while i was out and about. The valet who were eager to help you upon arrival (Michael, Kamal) The front desk staffs (Laetitia, Juliette) warm welcoming, their tone, maybe it’s a Quebec thing i don’t know..they were great! Don’t forget to try their delicious cocktails. Due to my time limit in the last visit, I ordered lunch to go..it was well packed and did not take long. The restaurant host was very eager to assist upon arrival for breakfast, the waiters were attentive..noticed what I needed even before I could thought of it. It was my third time staying at Vogue, I was glad to see their visions transforming during the renovation: before and after. The first visit experience was limited due to unfinished restaurant and the lobby..but the staffs attitude has never falter. The bed was super comfortable, hot-tub was nice..a piece of mind to have it. I stayed in the King apartment suite once, love the space..it had a kitchenette, full size fridge, love the premium bluetooth speaker. As a whole; the design, location, friendly service, and the foods…I have given them 5-star. Thank you everyone at Vogue Hotel for the good memories. Salut!!
Came here towards the end of our Montreal trip to celebrate my fiancés 40th birthday. Upon checking in, we received an upgrade to our room since he is a diamond member which made us very happy! The service was exceptional, all of the staff were very friendly. The drinks at the bar were thoughtfully made and the lobby is gorgeous. This hotel is also in the best location. My only complaint was that our bathroom didn’t really “match” our room – it’s like they upgraded everything in the hotel expect the bathrooms. Would still gladly return the next time we are in Montreal.
One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Rooms are comfortable and it actually gets near total darkness for a good night sleep. The staff is super eager to assist with anything. Visitors who observe kosher dietary laws should be aware this location is prime for downtown activities, but all dining is 20 minutes by car, on average.
Great location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. You are made to feel welcome as soon as you walk in and right at home for your entire stay with any needs you have being met immediately. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The bath amenities smelled so good I loved the added touches of the month wash, bath salts and loofah! The bath towels were thick and very soft. Everything about the Hotel feels very luxury. My favorites part was Ending every day with a soak in the jetted extra large tub! It was perfect! Towards the end of are stay we got given a tour of the remodel in progress once its finished it will be beautiful but don’t let that keep your from booking to stay here
This hotel was amazing, it was located in the perfect part of Montreal the hotel has some really great restaurants. I highly recommend Hotel Place d’Armes.
I really enjoyed my one night here. The location is amazing and in heart of old town. The service is perfect. The reception is really friendly and helpful
Best location. You’ll have short walking access to old port. Best service, they clean your room twice a day and their staff are super friendly and helpful. Their Spa had a 24 hour cancellation policy but we overslept and tried to cancel 22 hours before the appointment and they wanted to do only a 50% refund, so we talked with the Hotel reception and they took care of it. We spent 7 nights there in August 2023 and will definitely recommend this place.
I hate to even write this having previously enjoyed a fantastic stay here years ago,…. BUT something needs to be done about the unaffiliated nightclub (Lola Lola Lolita) across the street!!! When we stayed here in the past, it wasn’t summer and/or our room faced a different side. This time, we were faced with pulsing Latin music and loud voices in the street. I called the front desk and was told the club closes at 3 AM! They said they would ask them to close the doors of the club. Hours later, and still wide awake, I went to the front desk and asked to be moved. They moved us to an upgraded suite. Sounds great except for the fact that the air conditioning was sub par and because it was two stories, the room was terribly hot. A mechanic came to service it the next day, but it did nothing to resolve the issue. It’s a shame because the place is nice, location is great, and the staff is excellent, but the nightclub is going to ruin their business and their reputation. I’m not sure how they could put people into rooms overlooking Rue St Jacques with good conscience.
Excellent hotel. My family just spent 3 nights here and I will certainly be back. We had 2 rooms and both rooms were clean, modern and very spacious. Service was top notch. From the moment we checked in to when we left, we felt welcomed and looked after. The only down side is that they are across from a night club, you can hear the music (if you are a light sleeper). It doesn’t stop until about 2 or 3am! So bring earplugs!!
Lovely hotel! Staff very sweet and accommodating…especially Sam, the valet. Gave us a great gift store recommendation and even ran back to our valeted vehicle (twice) when I forgot a bag. Delicious food at the Brasserie and room service for breakfast was a treat. Simple elegance and close to everything. Only gave 4 instead of 5 stars due to limited reading lighting in bed and if you’re not used to city life, it is pretty noisy with typical city sounds. Died down around 11 pm though. Overall a great experience. Oh yes, and the chocolates and water bottles delivered early evening were a delightful surprise. Recommend!
This was a fantastic hotel. My wife and I went for our anniversary. They provided us with a complementary bottle of champagne as a surprise.
The service was great, restaurants were top notch, the spa was amazing, the rooms were comfy with a good view. We went in the middle of winter, so it was quite cold outside and snowy, but inside was warm and magical. Great part of town that was easy to walk around or catch metro.
