Kissimmee Hotels with Jacuzzi in room

My family and I stayed here for 8 nights. I really wanted to like this hotel and was very excited to stay here from the other reviews on multiple sites. Unfortunately our experience was not similar.

Pros: 1. The front desk staff was very courteous.
2. Location is excellent for Disney.
3. Breakfast is included and is pretty good. (not exceptional but all around good).
4. Pool and hot tub are great for kids (albeit sometimes neglected from a service stand point – not clean and no towels on multiple occasions).

Cons: 1. You have to “opt in” to house keeping.
2. We requested house keeping on several occasions from the front desk (in accordance with instructions) and got “ghosted.”
3. Multiple maintenance issues during our stay
– clogged / overflowing toilet
-toilet flushing mechanism and handle not working properly
-room refrigerator had something rotten in it (almost threw up when I opened it)
-The key cards are terrible. (worst I’ve ever seen) We had to get our keys changed no kidding SEVEN TIMES. (They tell you to stay away from magnets, cell phones, and other cards. However in our experience we found the keys would just “quit” after about 36 hours regardless of how careful we were with the keys – we had a lot of experience trying to be careful with keys). The desk finally told us to just stop by and get new keys each evening when we returned before we went up to our room.
-Only two elevators for a large hotel with 7 floors (we were on floor 7). For part of the stay one of the elevators was out of order. After being restored it still made funny and unsetting sounds when passing through each floor.
-AC for each hall (outside rooms) was inadequate for cooling
-Ice machine on our floor was hit or miss.
4. Community bathrooms were not clean on several occasions we went in.

I’ll stay somewhere else next time, even if it means paying a bit extra. It’s a shame because I really was looking forward to this hotel. I was pretty disappointed.

However, there is one downside to the hotel: the AC machine can be quite loud, which can disturb your sleep.

-The beds we’ve pretty darn comfortable however the pillows were not great.
-Plenty of towels
-room a/c works great
-room and bathroom were clean with no issues
-breakfast was standard hotel breakfast fare, waffles, toast, cereal, yogurt, etc. it was fine
-pool open 24hrs!
-heated pool with hot tub and poolside bar! Bar didn’t serve food though which was a bummer. We found out that the hotel simply didn’t have a cook on staff to man the kitchen.
-they offered a shuttle to Disney which we used in the morning, however we had to Uber back in the afternoon, shuttle only has 2 pickup times.

Overall if you’re looking for a cheaper hotel option for your Disney trip this is a solid choice for the price. I also appreciate how they didn’t charge a bunch of random fees like other hotels in the area do and I like how the hotel is in overall good shape. The staff was also very nice and helpful. I would stay again.

The pool was also unclean, leading to my children developing skin allergies that required a doctor’s visit. When I attempted to address these issues, I found that there was no host available on the property to handle complaints; everything had to be done by phone.

I spoke with the manager today at 10 AM, and found them to be very rude, unprofessional, and lacking empathy. Despite explaining the situation and the undisclosed fees, the manager insisted that there was nothing they could do and began yelling at me, showing a complete lack of understanding and professionalism.

Overall, this experience was very disappointing and ruined our vacation time. The resort’s failure to maintain cleanliness and the poor customer service have left me with no intention of returning.
