I had my wedding at Regatta Inn earlier this month and it was truly incredible! We rented out the entire inn for our guests and they had the best stay. All of the employees went above and beyond for breakfast, happy hour, and any other needs we had. Shanika and her team made the wedding setup seamless and easy. This place couldn’t be more perfect for a little quiet getaway! My boyfriend and I came here a year ago for a weekend vacation and as soon as we got there we were just in awe. Absolutely beautiful place! The rooms were so comfy, clean, wonderfully decorated and cozy. We had the river view which is great because we saw some dolphins playing and jumping. Even though it rained almost the whole time we still a great time. We were able to relax, shop and try new restaurants then come back and rest. The staff was amazing and they also offer food, drinks, and snacks. We would love to have a weekend getaway again soon!

This place was very unique, had an old world charm! The staff are all super nice, great breakfast, great views of the water, the rooms have jetted tubs and the place was very clean. Great experience! Would definitely love to come back!

Charming bed and breakfast, 1.5 miles from town. 5 minute walk to a gorgeous stretch of beach. Lovely room! Adorable, screened porch, with a view of sail boats on the river. Amazing sunset, from our porch! And, Bonnie, our host, was incredible! She drove us into town by golf cart. Also, wonderful good and drinks at happy hour and breakfast!

It was a unique and relaxing experience. Breakfast was just right and the happy hour every evening was perfect. We enjoyed our room overlooking the marina! The option to rent bikes directly from the facility was a great perk as well. For a longer stay, I will definitely plan ahead and reserve a licensed golf cart for easy transportation (*Be sure to get a tagged golf cart so you’re able to drive it around after 8pm). We would absolutely stay here again!

Pros: Front desk staff were generally lovely. Really appreciated Bryan and John. Loved the wine hour.

Cons: Dirty floors, clearly not washed as we discovered ourselves. Breakfast was terrible. Staff was loud even when we were trying to take advantage of the grounds. Overall, just not five star status and service.

One of the best hotels in America. I cannot overstate how excellent our stay at the Wentworth Mansion was. From the rooms, to the common spaces, to the excellent dining, everything about this hotel is incredible. The breakfast, tea time, and hors d’oeuvres were delicious. All the reviews are accurate. Charming, historic , romantic, wonderful customer service. Evening hors d’oeuvres very tasty as were the Morning pastries. Breakfast lovely. Short walk to King street. If you’re a Catholic-the first Catholic Church established in Georgia & the Carolinas is just down the street , St. Mary.

A great place to stay and enjoy all things Charleston! While the remnants of hurricane Idalia threw a couple of minor “glitches” into our stay the innkeeper and staff were very responsive and up to the challenges. The spa offerings and staff are right up there with the best of the best. And viewing the moonrise from the cupola was an unsurpassed highlight! Thanks to all for a great vacation.

The rooms were a work of art from top to bottom. The old wood floors were gorgeous. Anything that you asked for the staff was extremely accommodating. It’s probably not a place you would stay every time you visited but it was an absolute pleasure the entire stay. Thank you!

We had a great time at the Wentworth Mansion. The building was gorgeous, the room was beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. Be sure to make it to the rooftop to take in a sunset. The evening wine and cheese hour was a nice touch, and the 24/7 whiskey station made the perfect stop for a nightcap on the way into our room. The location was in a nice walkable neighborhood and it was a short walk or Uber to many great restaurants and shops. We did eat at the restaurant on site and although the food was fantastic, the environment could benefit from some music as it was extremely quiet with a mainly older crowd. We stayed in the ballroom suite which was gorgeous and very comfortable but the only two downsides were we could never figure out the jets on the tub, I think the cord was broken, and the location of the room is literally on the other side of the wall from the lobby, so at times it felt a little less private from a sound perspective. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and were pleased with our selection to stay at the Wentworth. We’d recommend it to any couples looking for a small romantic hotel.

The Wentworth Mansion is an incredible place to stay in Charleston! Fantastic rooms and such a kind caring staff! The spa and restaurant are beautiful and the rooftop cupola has a spectacular 360 view of the city! The Mansion is a perfect walking distance from King Street and other Charleston historic homes and buildings! We loved our stay!
