Minneapolis Hotels with In-Room Jacuzzis and Hot Tubs: Google Reviews Guide
Best Western Premier Nicollet Inn has garnered mixed reviews from guests, with a rating of 4.4 based on 1,037 reviews. Tim Gasser shared on October 27, 2023, that while he found the hotel nice, he thought it was odd that the fridge and microwave were located in the bathroom, raising questions about whether all rooms were designed that way, as he stayed in room 332. In contrast, Amber Magritz expressed her deep dissatisfaction with her stay, claiming it was the worst hotel experience she had ever encountered. She faced issues at check-in regarding pet fees for her service dog, despite presenting the necessary documentation. The manager’s dismissive attitude and refusal to resolve the situation left her frustrated, especially since her service dog assists her with panic attacks and PTSD. Additionally, she noted that the hotel mishandled her best friend’s wedding, with a lack of coordination and support from the staff, leading to a chaotic event. Joachim Schaaf echoed similar sentiments about the hotel’s service quality during his four-day stay, stating that the advertised features, including pet-friendly accommodations, were misleading. He also expressed concern over the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities. Katie Hohenstein described a creepy atmosphere with unpleasant odors in the hallways and poor food quality at the on-site restaurant, while Amanda Jackson mentioned issues like a strong smoke smell in her room and a slippery pool area. Overall, it seems that while some guests enjoyed their stay, others encountered significant challenges that overshadowed their experiences.
We had an outdoor wedding planned and the weather was not cooperating and needed a quick indoor place and the hotel helped us make our day still special. Thank you all.
The bed was a king sized box spring. You could literally feel the box springs and it bounced like one. That was not a mattress by any means. I have never seen a bed like that before. We could not sleep on it and immediately left Hotel. Sorry to give you a lot of money for such an undesirable bed we cannot sleep in. I will never be back.
A typical Country Inn & Suites. This one is a little old, but still seems in good shape. It is right off the main highway and is close to most of the commercial area. Getting off the highway to the hotel is easy. Getting back to the highway is a little more difficult due to one way roads, but it isn’t a deal breaker.
I’ve been staying at this hotel for a few years now. It is a good hotel. Rooms are always clean. The hotel needs some improvements on their wireless internet as it is very slow. Otherwise I would rate this hotel higher. I would recommend staying at this hotel.
I’ll try to keep this as short as possible. When we arrived, the toilet had poo in it, and the entire room stunk. We called and requested someone come clean it and were told they had no housekeeping until the next morning. So they moved us to a larger and much nicer room. To make a long story short, my wife and I had something planned that day, and the entire day from the time we woke up until that night just sucked. So we decided to hell with it and drove the two plus hours back home. We didn’t expect anything in return and realised we spent money on a room and weren’t in it for more than 10 minutes total. The next morning, we received a phone call asking why we had checked out early and if the dirty toilet was the reason. When we explained our situation, they reversed all the charges. To me, that’s going above and beyond. They didn’t have to do that, and the customer service was awesome right from the beginning. I wouldn’t hesitate to try it again someday. Great staff and nice rooms overall. Thank you, country inn and suites.
