My Bestie’s and I stayed August 19th-25th . This is the second time staying there. This is where we will stay everytime we come back the Dells. Awesome service from the office,and housekeepers . We love that they have a outdoor and indoor pools. We are ladies in our 50’s. We prefer indoor if possible. Our room smelled great when we got into it. We are glad that parking is in front of the rooms. Our rooms was big. Thank you, to the office staff and housekeepers for making our stay wonderful ❤️

We have family in the area and always try somewhere new to stay while visiting. This time we tried here since it was a quick trip. We were super pleased! Clean rooms and friendly staff! Plus loved being right across the street from Kwik Trip for late night snacks!

Very charming independent motel at a very reasonable price. Family owned and the owner checked me in and he was very nice and helpful. I’m glad I chose this place over some chain.

This Motel is literally the best place to stay at in Wisconsin Dells. You won’t be disappointed. I have been staying at the hotel for 30+ years!!! It is a family owned business, and not owned by a corporation who doesn’t care about you or your opinion. They have an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and hot tubs as well. Their pools are SO CLEAN! I’m definitely a germaphobe and usually won’t use pools or hottubs, but they were exceptionally clean and I had no problem going in. They also didn’t have the overwhelming “bleach/chlorine” smell. They also have an awesome arcade room and as well as a play area for the kids outside! 100% recommend EVERY TIME

The rooms are okay, pretty clean and air worked well keeping it cool. Some repairs needed, our bathroom door was to warped to close. Most rooms are not near the pool, need to cross a street to get to it.

Great little get away. Rooms were a little small, but if you are in the Dells, you are not there to stay in your room. Room was clean, price was excellent, location was walking distance to the tourist strip. Best room value on our entire trip. Staff were great and very friendly.

This was a fun experience! This motel had all the old-school motel nostalgia but was updated to not feel cringey. The room looked very clean and freshly painted. The jacuzzi looked brand new. We had a date night in the Dells and this was the perfect place for us to stay. We would love to come back with the kids sometime and try out the pool etc.

We really enjoyed this motel. We would LOVE to stay again but the beds are very uncomfortable. Both myself and my boyfriend experienced terrible back pain from them and it’s quite disappointing since everything else was awesome! Friendly staff, good cleaning service, room size was perfect for a quick get away, TV access and choices are good. Overall good stay but sadly wont be back due to the beds.

I found the hotel room very clean. The area was very clean and child friendly I would definitely recommend for some one to stay here. At night not a bunch of noise. U are a little ways from downtown so less traffic and noise but downtown is walkable. I would definitely stay at this location again. Nice pools and play ground

Nice place to go. We stayed in a cottage with a king bed/Jacuzzi tub. Tub was big. There was a little heater in the bathroom which was awesome cause it kept the toilet toasty warm . Parking was right outside the door. No stairs to climb. The pool was right across the street so we didn’t have to go far. Pool was fairly empty so it was a pleasant time. They also had a hot tub and a sauna. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will be returning in the future. Receptionist at the desk was really nice. Only paid 111 on a Sunday night so not too bad!

Reasonable prices.
Well maintained Hotel.
Staff is very nice and helpful.
Family Friendly.
A good location.
Plenty of things within walking distance.
We will continue to stay at Shamrock.
I recommend giving it a try.

Awesome place to stay at a great price. The inclusion of Noah’s Ark passes absolutely made it even better. The rooms were clean, the pools were clean, staff was friendly. Did it have the latest and greatest amenities? No. But it’s also not OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced like the other hotels/motels in the area.

We rented a 2 bed, 2 bath family suite with 1 king and 2 queens. Having the 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us was great. Our teens said their queen beds were comfortable. Our king bed was pretty hard. The king bed room had a small table and 2 chairs. The 2 adjoining 2 queen bed room behind the king room only had room for the dresser, night stands and beds- no sitting area, but did have a small closet area (the king bed area did not) to hang items.

For anyone with mobility issues, be aware that the main section of the hotel, at the “ground level” is not level with the parking lot. There is a very steep concrete curb to walk up and stairs. Our room was above the office in the main, South building. But it looked like the North building was better ground level access if you have issues with walking or bending knees for stairs.

The room was very clean. Fridge and microwave in room, but no in-room coffee. The coffee in the lobby was….free lobby coffee. Powdered creamer packets and sugar. I found a coffee shop a block down the street, just past the Mr. Pancake restaurant- Rosewood Cafe, which had $5 20oz coffee and well worth it.

My husband was less than impressed with the hotel room door lock security. At this mom & pop motel, you get a physical room key. It did not work in the dead bolt, so any belongings were not really secure in the room (a good shoulder or kick to the door and it surely could’ve popped right open).

The typical old-fashioned pull curtains did not close snugly, so lots of light came between the curtains and around the windows at night. We put beach towels in the gap and it helped, but didn’t help with the light coming around the curtains.

No breakfast at this hotel, but breakfast restaurants on either side of it. Also, an A to Z store in the same strip mall as the coffee shop a block North, that had some drinks, souvenirs and what we needed- new water shoes as our son’s had a malfunction the first day at Noah’s Ark. The location of the hotel was quite central, but be warned- to get across the 4 lane highway over to Noah’s Ark after about 9am is very difficult. There are cross walks, but about 3-4 blocks in either direction.

There is an outdoor pool, and an indoor pool on site. We didn’t use either but looked like others enjoyed. A few grills in the center section and a few picnic tables. There appeared to be several large groups of families/friends staying at the motel, so a lot going on outside in the mornings and night, but couldn’t really be heard from inside our room with the AC unit running.

Friday night parking was decent at the motel. However, Saturday night, after returning from going out to dinner, there wasn’t a parking spot available and had to park on the grassy grill/picnic area with several other vehicles.

All in all, the office staff was friendly, the rooms were clean. Noah’s Ark passes included for 3 days with our 2-night stay. If we stayed again, we’d bring our own small coffee pot, and spend the $20 for daily parking at Noah’s Ark to better and more safely get there, and would ask for a room in the North building as it might’ve been slightly quieter.

Would not recommend staying at this place. Read reviews and decided to book 3 nights. Checked in and our room smelled terrible and opening the windows did not help. Beds were very uncomfortable and the TV channels would only display in full screen on a small wide screen TV. Room was very dated and not very clean. Gunk on the TV remote. After 30 minutes in our room we left and found another place to stay. Would never stay here even for $20 a night probably not even for free. I am not sure if other rooms are better but ours was not even ok the reviews were very misleading. Location is centrally located to attractions. Across a very busy street to Noahs Ark and about a .5 mile walk to Mount Olympus. Would recommend staying just about anywhere else

The Shamrock Motel it is a very good place to stay. Very resonably priced with an appreciated room. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and really great receptionist.
I will definitely stay there again.

We have always stayed at the Shamrock Motel when at the Dells. Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean. Noah’s Ark passes included with stay, you can just walk across the street. Love that there is both an indoor and outdoor pool.
