We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Truman Gillet House
B & B in Granby, CT. We had such a wonderful time! The home is conveniently
located with easy access not too far from Hartford, CT, Bradley International
Airport and areas in Western, Massachusetts; with many places to visit, quaint
country stores and good dining.

The B & B was coxy, comfortable, private, and clean. Breakfast was always
delicious! A few of our favorites were the blueberry pancakes; French toast; and
homemade applesauce. The hosts were gracious, pleasant to talk with and very
accommodating.

Overall, our stay was excellent and we hope someday to return for another visit
and stay at the Truman Gillet House in Grandy, CT.

The inn was warm and comfortable and the owners were very accommodating. It was close by to nice restaurants and very near the bike trail. We enjoyed our stay and would go back

The Truman Gillett House is nicely decorated and all of the furniture is comfortable and in perfect condition. The common areas, bedrooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean. The breakfast is very good, with the hosts checking on your preferences in advance. I had a last minute special food request, and hosts were very accommodating. The location is great and the House is easy to see from the street. The hosts provide enjoyable company and you feel like family while you are there!

A quintessential New England Inn! Love all the antiques and stories that went with them. Breakfasts started our days out deliciously! Room clean and welcoming, wonderful bed. Location ideal and easy to find. Definitely recommend this B&B and we will be returning!

I always look to stay here when visiting friends who live in the area. Kim and Wayne are gracious hosts who reach out ahead of time so they can customize our the delicious home cooked breakfast. The room is always clean and well stocked. The house and location are just lovely. Highly recommend!

y wife and I absolutely loved our stay here. Granby room seemed a bit small at first but the bed was very comfortable and it has a decent – sized closet. Wayne and Kim are very welcoming and had quite a bit of knowledge and tips for what to do in the area as well as the rest of New England. Breakfast was exceptional each day (blueberry pancakes were sensational); they were kind enough to contact us before we arrived to ask about any food allergies we had. Definitely the place to stay if you’re in the area.

For a mid-range Hilton hotel, this place was nice enough. You’ll get an average hotel room with either 2 queens or 1 king that was clean but a little older with some wear. The one on-site restaurant location had decent food, and the hotel was located near many off-site choices if you were in between serving times or just didn’t want to eat there. The best part of this particular location was the staff. While this Hilton isn’t a higher end hotel, the staff acted and treated you like it was. All were very well trained, more than polite and exceptionally professional. The prices were a little high for this type of Hilton hotel, but since its only nearby competition was another Hilton, I guess they feel they can demand it. I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend this location, but if it’s a matter of convenience to an event you may have, I would say that this location is fine.

The carpets needs to be updated as there is a smell to them on the third floor. Easy on the bleach for the linens! Overall the location is great.

Great hotel and great stay overall. Miriam at the front desk made this trip less than pleasant. She was extremely rude condescending to me and my coworkers on 3 separate occasions. She seemed to take pleasure in trying to embarrass us by talking loudly when we were trying to get clarification on a few hotel policies. I will absolutely avoid this property in the future if this is the level of customer service that is being provided. What an awful experience.

I stayed at this location with my family less than a week ago. I cannot say enough GREAT things about the facility as well as the exceptional team the Glastonbury location has. Their GM Krystal Rivera worked tirelessly to ensure my family had everything we needed to make our stay perfect! She truly is an asset to their team and her strong leadership abilities are leaps and bounds above the competition. I would stay at this location again and again! Thank you for the hospitality!!!
