I’d leave 0 stars if I could. Got here at 1am with my children to be able to get some sleep while traveling! Got to the room which was probably over 90 degrees and thought well maybe it just needs to cool down. Nope AC never worked, hall ways were cooler than our room we ended up leaving less than 4 hours later and was charged $180 for the stay! Nobody was at the front desk to speak too. & when I called to speak to someone I was hung up on with no call back. Very very very poor customer service!

Absolutely love this hotel. Affordable and clean. The house keepers are very nice and are always smiling. The front desk workers are awesome and will help with everything you need. The manager is awesome and will do everything he can to make sure your happy and all your needs are met.

I already had a bad feeling about this place when we were greeted with a sign stating that we cannot take breakfast upstairs. Okay. Get up to the room, it’s cute. Foot odor was the first thing that hit me. Noticed that I could see the hallway through my closed door. Not thrilled about that. Then the next morning go to heat up my water for coffee, the microwave just spins but doesn’t heat anything. We didn’t bother with breakfast. Mostly non heated items, bread cereal and the like. We won’t be coming back. Oh and the construction crews get drunk in their trucks in the parking lot, so beware if your a solo female traveler.

First room the toilet didn’t flush, so the front desk gave us a different room. The night attendant was especially nice.

Second room:
TV was on in room when we walked in. And TV had fingerprints all over. Phone is filthy. Microwave dirty on outside. Paint peeling hanging from ceiling. Pillows are tiny. There was Urine on toilet seat. Bathroom sink faucet handle leaked excessively when turned on. Tub stopper didn’t work right. Barely enough water pressure to turn shower on. No towel bars. Bathroom fan did not turn on. Something splattered on walls in bathroom. Purple stuff and dirt on light switch in bathroom.

No meat for breakfast
No brown sugar for oatmeal
No yogurt
Both hand sanitizer dispensers in public places were empty.

I wanted to let the staff know about the maintenance problems, but there was no body at the desk when we left at 8:39 am.

We have been here for two nights and the guy at the front desk has been so sweet and good to us. He has great customer service and has worked with us on a few situations already. The rooms are great for the price. There are two other hotels next door with both high deposit and comfort inn has a WAY cheaper deposit. House keeping was rude to us this morning but maybe they were just having a bad day. Coming from someone who stays in hotels frequently, I definitely recommend this hotel.

Update: we have still been using this hotel when traveling. The guy that works at the front desk during the day is so great. I don’t run into the guy that owns the place often but I did the other day while my kid was RUNNING down the hall, I was embarrassed and trying to get to him to make him stop. The guy was so nice about it and told me not to worry about it because I kept apologizing. I’ve stayed at every hotel off the exit and after staying here for weeks I can confirm, this is the best hotel around. & yes they have real breakfast not just cereal and fruit like the other ones on this exit.

Not what we expected and definitely not like other Comfort Inns we’ve stayed in. Need major upgrades. I did however like that the TV was on the wall and there was a microwave in the room. The room and common areas had a funny smell to it. With upgrades the hotel will be better.

Our experience was a disaster from the start. Beginning with check-in the person at the counter couldn’t tell me if I paid for my room or not, which I did pre-pay for my room. Very odd with such a large hotel chain. The first room that we were in, had a musty, moldy smell, and had stains on the carpet. Which I found out a friend of ours who was staying at the same hotel had moved out of that room the night before because of the musty, moldy smell and the stain on the carpet. We requested to be moved into another room, not as bad as the first, but also smelled like mold in the bathroom. The real problem was the visible mold on the air conditioning unit. Unfortunate for me, I’m very allergic to mold and began to get sick during this stay. The hotel was completely booked so we could not switch rooms again. After multiple times of asking them to clean the air conditioning unit of the mold, nothing was done. And I was told that I had to put my complaints to an email because the manager was not in on the weekend. All I asked for was bleach to clean the air conditioning unit and they could not accommodate me. So I had to go to the store and get my own bleach so that I could actually sleep that night without Benadryl. I will definitely be reporting to the health department. It is absurd the they can’t chain the air filters and disinfect the air conditioning vents.

I guess I’ll start off by saying this is by far one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with a comfort inn… I’m an elite diamond member with choice hotels as I travel often for my job. When you walk in, at first it seems clean enough. The lady at the front desk was new but still got us checked in pretty quick. I accidentally booked the room with the jacuzzi which was fine. Upon walking in the room seemed pretty clean. Felt like making some popcorn in the micro I had brought with me from another hotel. Of course the microwave wasn’t working and I found out quickly why. Opening and closing the microwave door scared a cockroach out of hiding that was in between the glass of the microwave… upon further inspection, there was a big cockroach leg stuck inside where the door latches shut. I was disgusted… Had the gentlemen at the front desk come and look in which upon him coming in and showing him the microwave ANOTHER little baby cockroach was just chilling there inside. He took pictures which I hope he will show the manager of this establishment… As I was being moved to another room. My friend saw another bigger cockroach go scurrying across the table upon picking up his wallet… All in all this places is nasty. The pictures I posted were the room where we were moved into after the cockroach room… These cleaning people are lazy and do next to nothing when it comes to cleaning. All I had to do was pull a bit of furniture back and you can see it hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned in years… This is just plain laziness… crumbs under the nightstand and trash behind the fridge… Needless to say won’t ever be staying at this place again. NASTY! So if you like sleeping with roaches and trash in your room this is the place for you

My stay here at this Comfort Inn Located in Acworth, GA was okay

Front desk
• pleasure to deal with. Check-in and out went flawlessly. The customer service provided was slammed dunked.

Room
• Spacious and so so comfortable feeling.

Bed
•Clean, and comfortable for my taste. It did have that well-rested night feeling in the morning when I woke up.

Bathroom
• Clean bathroom and it served its purpose well.
•Shower head was needing to be changed out, in my opinion, the water stream was so-so, I’ve had better, and the hot water was okay

Breakfast
• 6am to 9am
• didn’t partake in

WiFi connection
• Login was easy. Speeds were Consistent around 50 Mbps down and 50 up

So, all in all, I give this 3 out of 5.

This hotel has served what I was looking for. Could have given a better rating however the floor I was on smelled like marijuana and blunts
.
See the pictures I took
My room was on the 2nd floor.

As soon as we arrived, we were not greeted in a welcoming manner. The man at the desk asked me if I wanted the jacuzzi. I was confused because I had already prepaid for a room with a king bed and jacuzzi. He kept asking me if I was sure I wanted it and then said only one room with a jacuzzi was left and two more customers who were arriving that night wanted them. He said he wasn’t sure how they overbooked. I don’t understand why he explained the operational errors with me. I also didn’t appreciate him trying to convince me to take a room with just a king bed, I’m not sure why other guests would be more important than me. Unprofessional.

As far as the room goes, it clearly smelled like cigarette smoke. My husband and I both have asthma so this was very irritating. Due to my experience at the front desk, I felt there was no use brining up this issue. Additionally, the room was dirty. The bathroom was visibly dirty, including the jacuzzi. I had to wipe it out before using it. The bed runner had crusty stains on it. One of the lamps didn’t work. The ironing board was busted. One or two of these things could have been excusable but the combination of this just shows an overall lack of care and effort.

I will never return to a comfort inn or any choice hotels again.
