Ronkonkoma Hotels Featuring In-Room Jacuzzis and Hot Tubs: Google Reviews
The staff is very nice. I am disappointed with the lack of water pressure in the shower, the broken air conditioning system in the gym, and the lack of a water bottle filling station in the gym. It is impossible to work out in a 90 degree room. I chose this hotel because I thought it would have a nice gym.
Staff was super friendly with every interaction. Hotel has a gym and a pool. Breakfast isn’t complimentary but that is fine. Rooms were a little dingy and the shower was awful. The water came out scalding even at the lowest settings. Otherwise everything was fine.
Food was left in the refrigerator and it smelled I called the front desk, and they apologized and said to put it out the door and they would pick it up. Came back from dinner it was still outside for door. Placed in the trash in the laundry room. Didn’t ask about my stay; there was a $15 charge for parking.
Hotel is nice and well kept. Bed is soft and comfortable the shower heads need cleaning or changing water runs very low (like a bird’s bath) and water isn’t hot. Upon entry the front desk lady did not greet me just kept typing frantically on the keyboard then after five minutes I was greeted with a rapid rambled of words that I asked her to repeat slowly. Housekeeping was pleasant and provided me with a blanket for my room. Overall I would come back and enjoyed by stay.
It’s an older courtyard but it’s been well maintained. Great staff – shoutout to Melissa. I took her recommendation and went to the BBQ place next door. They have a discount for those staying at the hotel. Has a working peloton which was a pleasant find for a courtyard.
Stayed here for a week for a lacrosse tournament. Great location, close to train station and highway. Rooms spacious bathrooms good but no fan. Clean. Front desk people were just awesome. They catered to every need and made a few problems go away. Only issue we had was with the restaurant. The restaurant had some great employees and a few that acted weird. In the end it was all good. Don’t plan on eating full course meals here, more like a bar at night and cafe in the morning with some food. But tons of great food near by. There is also a smokey bones and red lobster in the parking lot if you just don’t want to drive.
For an upscale hotel we were very disappointed. The ice machine was broken on the 5th floor and had to use the 3rd floor machine. The toilet in the room ran all night keeping us up. Small coffee machine in the room, but you only gave us 1 packet of coffee with 2 cups. Never heard of having to pay to park at the property. We will never go back to this Marriott again. The Marriotts in California are 100 percent better.
Great location which is dog friendly. Carpeting in hallways needs to be updated. We have seen the wear and tear over the years. Front desk handled any issues quickly. They were all very friendly. We travel to visit family so we are bringing our 18 pound dog with us.
It’s not too bad, but there are a lot of hidden charges. Overall, clean , you must carry your own bags in. No one to do it for you. I’m not sure if we’d stay there again.
The place is a disgusting rip-off dump 150 a night you might as well go to the Hampton inn. Wouldn’t even give me a break on the price at all. Then I looked on Expedia and all of a sudden the price has dropped well do yourself a favor stay away
I stayed for one night in beautiful renovated room. The bathroom and floor were very dirty. I hope the service qualities are improve . I will try again in the near future.
I gave them a call and simply asked if they had discounted rooms because I am struggling and don’t have money, only to be met with rudeness and getting hung up on. Very unprofessional. Don’t come here.
Ridiculous place to stay ,not clean ,smell cigarettes and it has lot of flies all over inside and outside,no iron inside for clothes,I don’t really recommend it for all .
To all who leave this place a review, scathing and upset about the owners or the conditions of the rooms and so on….. let me give you a reality check and an honest review first off. The Motel is used almost exclusively by escorts and extremely short stay individuals. so the mirrors in the room are meant for the view.. the cash deposit is there because when you’re dealing with such unsavory people, they are going to screw you every time and when you happen to be a nice normal guest this feels very obtuse. Third room service don’t expect any and don’t expect someone to come and fix your Jacuzzi at 12 o’clock at night… or in fact don’t expect the front as to do anything at pretty much any point in the day except 11 am check out, and yes, they will start bothering you a minimum of 10 minutes early. with all that said know where you are it’s Commack. It’s the Commack Inn all you have to do before you get a room at a motel is drive around it then park for a few minutes. You should be able to gauge what type of Motel, you are at within that timeframe, if you’re gonna be bothered by women of the night on savory people this is definitely not the place to go. Also don’t expect a five star comfort level in their bed pillows Jacuzzi or any other amenities it’s just reality don’t be so mad at the Indian guy he’s rude, he’s mean, wouldn’t you be if you owned a motel and had to deal with drug addicts and escort all day they’re not the nicest that’s why he don’t get on the phone with most people
ripped me off for my $20 deposits and refused to review cameras to prove that i gave it to them twice. no receipt given or anything. associate completely ignored my concern, told me i was wrong, wouldn’t listen, and gave a complete attitude. very shady. oh and yes – i gave her that attitude right back after she continued to ignore me while on the phone with her co-worker. I’d like to hear from the property manager or owner. UPDATE; tried to give them another shot, they may be even worse now. health department contacted.
New owners ..sold my home yesterday .needed 7 to 10 to move in to my new home on new years Eve with a new puppy commack motor inn staff and ownership put me on a brand new room pet friendly with more ammenities than Marriot or Hilton. Service compassion and discounted rates on new year eve….
Who does that..Commack motor inn. You’ve got my business for local stays
Thank you thank you thank you….
I wish you and the Commack team the very best…good luck guys.
First lets start with the positives: decenlty convenient location near the parkway and lots of places to eat/shop on Jericho Tpk.
Now the negatives: Service was abysmal even for a motel. The front desk woman was rude and short with me. They require a ridiculous $300 CASH ONLY deposit just to get a room, a big ask in this day in age, especially when your stay will likely be for much less money. Next the room. Was it clean? Kinda, but I didn’t take a black light to it (please someone do this). The interior was extremely dated with a mirror on the cieling above the bed. I know what this hotel is often used for… but the reminder is not appreciated. Lighting was dim and gave a gross feeling to the whole room. Finally comfort… my biggest gripe. I have stayed in many motels in my life, and I will say the pillows are usually a non-issue (especially for one night). However the pillows I slept on at the Commack Motor Inn felt like malleable ROCKS (hard to describe). You can press into them but in the morning its like a boulder was under my head, uncomfortable to say the least. I was cranky when I woke up due the pillows and had to eat and drink coffee at the nearby IHOP to cure myself.
There are so many better motels (Whitman Lodge in Huntington Station, Norwich Inn in East Norwich, Chalet Inn in Centerport) with comparable and often better pricing. Save your time, money, and sleep, even if just for a one night stand, and go elsewhere.
