Complete Guide to Tunica Hotels Featuring In-Room Hot Tubs
Love ❤️ Hollywood Casino and Gaming!! The rooms are very clean and restaurants have excellent service with great food choices! When in the area please visit you will be happy you did.
Really convey how personal the staff made our stay. 3 card poker was really fun and the dealers are very friendly with 25 years of experience. Paid only 25.99 dollars for 2 nights. The restaurants are staffed with infinity trained Chefs. Fitzgerald upstairs is my favorite. We ate there twice and Happy Birthday was sang by everyone for my wife. Simply said, the staff, waiters, chefs, and host have my long term relationship for many returns. The fare on the menu is awesome. Oysters , oh me. Steaks came ordered to perfection. The casino host are speedy and friendly. They value your business and will always percent insure that you are completely satisfied. TY Lisa.
Casino was great ~ Hotel .. toilet flapper wouldn’t go down without removing the back, a plug prong was broken off inside the electrical outlet exposing the hot leg. You must pay a $50 deposit in addition to the cost, then they keep an extra $12.99 resort fee. The room was clean though.
Recently stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of this week. My room was not cleaned well and the rooms really need to be updated. You’ll noticed in the pictures stains on the furniture, a small dried blood spot in the sheets, and an uncleaned fridge. If you’re a local and want a quick getaway, are redeeming free nights, or just need somewhere to lay your head after a night of playing it will do, however I would not recommend these rooms.
Had some spare time over new years weekend and stopped by Hollywood Tunica for a couple hours. All we did was win win win. Very nice casino that wasn’t crowded and everyone was friendly. It has some cool things to see like the Batmobile and the Delorean from Back to the future
The room was clean and room service was good, but there was no microwave or fridge in the entire casino to heat or store my food. Then they charged me for the room service twice, and I’m still going through emails to get it figured out. Overall I did enjoy my time just wish I could’ve had a better experience.
Room was clean and more updated then their pictures online. Only problems I had was whenever I turned the light/fan on in the bathroom i would get the smell of cigarettes through the vent from the neighbors who must have been smoking in their room. Also when I checked out there seemed to be no one in site so I just left my key on the counter with the other keys that had been left. There was one broken cabinet in the bathroom but that wasn’t too much of an issue.
The ‘resort’ may have been nice at one time but it almost looks abandoned now. Landscaping has been let go and the grounds look bad. The fountain out front doesn’t have water in it. The Manager and Desk Clerk were pleasant. A graduation party was being held in the lobby and the only people around appeared to be part of the gathering. Our room smelled so strongly of marijuana that my friend felt high after being in the room a short time. We could hear casual conversation through the wall of the room. The bed looked nice. Otherwise, the appliances were outdated, carpet was frayed, there was no hair dryer and there was still ice in the freezer from a previous guests stay. The flat screen tv in the living area was small and the tv in the bedroom was an old model. Central air was replaced with a window unit in the living room. There was loud music playing in the parking lot. There was mention of other amenities but there was no evidence that they exist on site. It almost had the feel of a place where the owner has handed over management to someone who doesn’t have a clue.
was very disappointed in this Resort. I would not recommend at all. Very Dirty dingy lights and outlets that didn’t work, carpets stained bad, Furniture worn and ripped. Our friends had a separate room was slightly cleaner but not much they only had one phone and that one didn’t even work. The staff was friendly when they were there hotel lobby was closed almost the whole time we were there. Never seen anything like it. on some of prior reviews the owner or someone stated some improvements were made. Which is why we gave it a shot. We travel a lot and know how some people reviews can be. In twenty years of traveling first negative review. The location is great with a little more care this place could be so much better.
We stayed at this resort in the fall because my daughter had a cheer competition. I have no idea why a cheer competition would be booked in Tunica since majority of hotels are in casinos. Casinos are smoked in and around the facilities and many of our team said it was horrible at these casinos so we did chose to book at Westgate. When we got there, I waited at the counter for 20 minutes before anyone came to the front desk. Then I was told I had to pay a $50 fee for cleaning which would be refunded if I left room in good condition. Apparently the lady working the desk was also in charge of cleaning the rooms. I got to my room with my two children. The suite was large but it was outdated, dirty and the door didn’t appear very secure. We immediately noticed carpet had not been vacuumed and kitchen floor was not swept or mopped. It had something sticky spilt on it. Bed linens were white with brown stains. We had to wash my daughters uniform and when I opened washer and dryer, there were towels and linens in both. The lady came and put it all in a garbage bag. I had brought some food items from home, thankfully since there isn’t really anywhere to eat unless you want to go to a smokey hotel, scary gas station, or drive an hour away, and my kids sat down to eat. They found chicken wing bones in the arrangement on the table. Gross!! There was also red wine possibly that had spewed all over the ceiling that was obviously never cleaned. There is a Sonic and maybe Wendy’s but no walmart or grocery store. I even asked front desk to be sure. The room adjoined another room. Our door did not have a lock on it but the other room did. We found this out because another cheer family was staying there and the kids just happened to try the door and walked right into our room!! We called the front desk immediately and no one would answer. This was approximately 7:45pm. We left a message an no one returned our call. This is very unsafe & thankfully it was not someone that we didn’t know or I would had to of left due to not feeling secure in my room. Apparently, no one is on duty after a certain time so if something major happens you are left on your own. We had to check out before 8am the next morning and they were not open yet, so we had to leave our room keys in a box. I left another message and never had anyone contact me. I stayed in suite 105A. I would never recommend this place. There is also no WiFi and the DVD player was broken & there are only a few channels on tv. Everything was bolted down as if someone would want to steal the outdated items. This place is disgusting!!!!
