Ridiculously cool place to stay! The hotel is like a museum, it felt out of time. Decorations were super cool, and in an easy spot to access town and touristy spots. The breakfast was the yummiest breakfast I have had at any hotel I have ever stayed at. I will be dreaming about the crepes Christine and Paul made for us until the end of time. Thank you Christine, Paul, and others for a great stay!
My wife and I have stayed here 3 times. The breakfast is always fresh and delicious with beautiful presentation. Our favorite breakfast choices are the omelettes and ALL the crepes. Our favorite room is the Senator Spa Room. All the little things make this place magical. Historical items, décor, the best food, warm and friendly service. Christine is a wonderful and attentive hostess. A passion to provide a pleasant and enjoyable stay is evident in every aspect of how this gem of a bed and breakfast is hosted. You will love your stay here, I promise.
This was our second trip to the Heber Senator B&B, and it was a 5-star repeat experience. This was a ski trip, and it has easy access to Park City and Deer Valley. The rooms are nicely done and there is a welcoming dining/reading/gathering room. Christine, the hostess, is super flexible and very accommodating of special requests. Chef Paul’s made-to-order breakfasts are fantastic. I REALLY appreciated the afternoon cookies. We’ve met wonderfully interesting people both times we stayed there. Looking forward to next year’s trip!
Unbelievable. The home sits in the heart of Heber and was a great anniversary getaway. The home itself was built in 1902 and the restoration retains much of the charm of the old while updating with modern amenities. The price was very reasonable when compared to Salt Lake or PC hotel, resorts.
The Senator Spa room was beautiful. The climb to the third floor was well worth the spacious, well decorated room. Everything was wonderful. Great communication, easy check in, and very straight forward. Breakfast took it to the next level. Christine was super friendly and eager to make our stay complete. The crepes were out of this world. The blueberry crumble crepe was something I didn’t expect. It was out of this world tasty. I suspect , weekend getaways, mid week Murder Mystery dinner at the Inn may be on the making. This was a last minute, not planned, trip that far exceeded expectations.
Our stay was excellent! The room was cozy, full of charm, clean, and stocked with amenities. We felt relaxed and well taken care of throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the made-to-order breakfast served on the main floor which boasted all sorts of architectural treasures and delights. The staff was so friendly and took time to have a pleasant conversation with us while our food was cooking. Perhaps no one else will find this to be a plus, but we loved the Darigold brand butter served with the homemade breakfast muffins! It added that extra touch of class and quality. We visit the Heber/Midway area every winter and will definitely be staying here again.
We had a wonderful stay!! The room was clean & comfortable, the food was delicious, the hosts were friendly & welcoming, and the location was easy to find and convenient to other activities. We will definitely be coming back for another stay! Thank you!
The Heber Senator B&B was an ideal stay! Wonderful guests, professional & friendly management like Christine and sociable & stellar chefs like Paul who have travelled the world themselves and brought it back to their conversation and the table! I promise you will have some amazing crepes and egg dishes at this historic home from 1902 … including (if in season) a lemon blueberry crepe that rivals the tastiest cafe — from Paris, Texas to Paris, France . Taste it and find out yourself.
The rooms are quiet, many-windowed, and well lit. The place has an appealing scent in it the moment you walk in, and has been renovated for what modern guests would like.
The only catch is that the word is out about this little gem. I booked 3 months in advance to get the Tiffany suite, and was lucky to snag it. It is possible that you may get more flexible conditions here and a less expensive stay if you do not book through Expedia and Booking for this B&B (that’s what I have learned to do).
Enjoy your travels in gorgeous Utah and your time at the cozy Heber Senator B&B.
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at this quaint bed and breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and clean and everyone was super friendly. The breakfast crepes were INCREDIBLE. We especially loved the savory crepes. We had Le Petit and the American. Both were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants a nice, quiet getaway!
It is hard to express how amazing this place is. This literally feels like home away from home. Hosts, specially Christine, are so warm and welcoming that you would not feel that you are actually away from your home. We went to celebrate our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days. But after staying for 2 days, we altered our further bookings and extended our stay with them for few more nights. It actually felt that we were living with our family. That is the best thing about this place that you don’t feel that you are staying at a hotel or any other commercial property. Just like many other reviewers, I also believe that their breakfasts are to die for. Paul, who is the breakfast chef, makes some out of the world quiche and eggs Benedict. Also, the location is perfect to drive by nearby cities and picturesque locations. Can’t wait to visit them again.
I will definitely be staying here again and recommending it to my family and friends. The whole experience was truly wonderful. The Room was clean and welcoming, we stayed for my birthday and did the added flower bouquet and dipped strawberries it was such a great addition. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. You won’t be disappointed with you stay! Book Now and Enjoy!
The service was fantastic, the room was clean, and we absolutely loved the breakfast! There were so many lovely, surprise touches that made this feel extra special, especially for a place that is on the more affordable side of b&b’s. Also, even though the home is more than 100 years old, it is well updated, which gives it old charm but modern conveniences (like a bathroom fan, which even some newer hotel rooms don’t have).
My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at the Heber Senator B&B as a short distance getaway. We enjoyed every minute there. Its location is perfect for short walks to Main Street shops and eateries. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the history of the house is reflected beautifully in its decor. Best of all was Shari’s delicious breakfasts and Mark’s graciousness as co-host. We shall return!!
These guys are phenomenal. The staff has been excellent – above and beyond the call of duty. Mikayla at the front desk went the extra mile several times to help us as we are here for a medical emergency. I’m so grateful we chose to stay here. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.
Lovely big room, comfortable bed, clean everywhere. We also had a microwave and refrigerator. The shower and toilet were in the bathroom with a sink in the main room. The breakfast was really good. They have lost a star because although having booked and paid in advance for 2 nights our door keys only worked for day one and I needed to get it sorted at the reception. Not a big deal but we were at the end of a very long corridor.
I can’t remember the last time I’ve been in a hotel this nice for an affordable price. Normally I see stains and things in need of repair, but out of the whole hotel all I saw was the bathroom door sticking.
For the room, the bed was comfortable, the lighting was good, the shower had decent pressure, and for the first time in recent traveling memory I wasn’t when by people in the hallway. My room number was 403.
The sauna was the reason I chose this hotel. It didn’t appear to be working at first, but after talking to the front desk they reset it and it got nice and hot. The pool was warm and the hot tub was hot. Everything was really clean and the kids loved the fact it was five feet deep at one end.
Breakfast buffet was pretty standard. Instead of waffles there was french toast which was nice.
Parking was good. Public transportation in the area was not. You’ll have to do some walking if that’s how you plan to get around. The kids did not enjoy the walk to Gateway Mall and back.
By far one of our favorite hotels to stay in. The rooms are always clean. I love how the pool curves so bigger kids can play in the deep end while I can watch my smaller child play in the shallow end; and the hot tub is always hot. The breakfast is the best hot breakfast I’ve seen at any hotel I’ve stayed at. We used to stay at a different Crystal Inn, but switched to this one mainly because the breakfast is so much better. 10/10 would recommend this hotel. We stay there a couple times a year.
Had the pleasure of staying here for two nights. I stayed in the king suite with the jetted tub.The bed was so comfortable, the jetted tub was massive! Room was clean and spacious. The lady who checked me in was courteous and friendly. The breakfast was great, I really enjoyed the many options they offered. Even with some construction going on outside across from my room, the room remained pretty quiet for the majority of the day. I was overall very impressed. This place gained another regular! 10/10
