Mississauga Hotels Featuring In-Room Jacuzzis and Hot Tubs: Google Reviews
Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport West/Mississauga has garnered a rating of 4.3 based on 1217 reviews. One guest, John Graham, shared a troubling experience during a recent hockey tournament, noting that three cars were stolen in the early hours of one night, with two more theft attempts occurring the following night. This alarming situation forced guests to remain vigilant at night to deter potential theft. Unfortunately, the hotel’s security cameras were not functioning, and staff only communicated about the thefts after the initial incidents. Guests were not warned about the area’s high car theft rate, and the lack of security added to the stress, turning what should have been an enjoyable weekend into a sleepless ordeal. In stark contrast, other guests have praised the hotel for its convenient location, friendly staff, and clean rooms. For instance, Russlyn Wade highlighted the advantages of having a microwave and fridge in the rooms, along with the ease of access to downtown Toronto and nearby dining options. Additionally, Sophie Capron appreciated the well-insulated rooms, which provided a quiet retreat despite proximity to the elevator, and enjoyed the long hours of the pool and spa. Overall, guests seem to have mixed feelings about their experiences at this hotel.
If you’re looking to have a special occasion reach out to Maurizio & Faye! They will treat you like family! We couldn’t have asked for better consults for our wedding! They were amazing with each guests dietary needs.
The staff were super nice. They took the time to show me some of the rooms even though I was already in a room. The carriage house rooms are the best. The spa is an Oasis in the middle of what feels like residential.
We had some trouble with the room, but the staff was top. Never had a more friendly experience in any other hotel. Be aware that you are not in downtown Toronto, so there are not as many shops and restaurants as you might think. The restaurant is really good as well. A small menu for breakfast as well as lunch. But you will definitely find something.
A lovely little oasis in the suburbs. The service was really great. Very polite and sweet unlike many other places we have been to. Everyone from the check in staff to the servers were so wonderful ?. The rooms are nice and modern. The decor is lovely and they have such a peaceful back terrace where you can have a meal or a drink. Nice walking trails as well. Only wish they had an elevator for the upper rooms so you don’t need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Other than that, this place is a gem.
This is a lovely Inn and has many pluses to it. It’s obvious from other reviews that refurbishing of the rooms has happened (at least in the carriage house), because we had lovely rooms. The staff seemed to be pulled in every direction- the check in and check out was extremely slow, with many interruptions for one receptionist. The receptionists seemed very awkward in handling and prioritizing her tasks. While 3 people are waiting to check out, she was having to take calls for other staff to find chairs, etc. It seemed that the computer was painfully slow and I wasn’t sure why I would have to produce the same credit card to check out, when it was already on file. Many hotels don’t even require a check out to be done – an email is sent. We were convinced by a very nice staff person that we should stay and dine in the restaurant and she claimed the steaks were the best anywhere, and the 6 of us decided to dine there. No fault of hers, but my steak had to be sent back twice to get a medium rare steak! The one salmon dish was very over cooked as well and very underwhelming vegetables. Again, the waiter went out of his way to make it right and we were comped three desserts. It was obvious there were many functions happening, but it seems that staffing and better software/customer training for staff would be helpful. We did enjoy our stay for the most part.
