Authentic reviews of West Palm Beach hotels featuring hot tubs
I want to say thank you to hotel supervisor Lakisha, (sorry if I spell that wrong) who handled our reservation personally. Your professionalism and attention to the client is commendable. Thank you for helping us cancel our reservation. To be clear we love this hotel and would stay here gladly next time. Our trip had to be cancelled due to unforeseen job changes and the 3rd party we booked through (cheaptickets), gave us a hard time even though our trip was more than 3 weeks out. Thanks again Lakisha and Hawthorn Suites for caring more about the customer experience than a petty charge. Will definitely book with you again in the future.
This has to be one of best hotels I’ve ever stayed at great location outstanding breakfast friendly staff clean huge rms great shuttle service goes above & beyond. I literally felt like I was at home bed extra comfortable super happy with my stay… ?!!!!
The rooms were clean and breakfast was okay. I would like to acknowledge one of your concierges Israel as a exceptional worker. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued us as customers.
We came from Ohio for a baseball tournament and stayed 06/08/23 to 06/12/23. Hands down the best thing about this hotel is Edmund, the bartender! He was a lot of fun and made amazing drinks. We came in from a baseball game 30 minutes before the bar closed and he gave us an extra 30 minutes! One of the nicest people I have ever met and I cannot give him and his service enough praise. Thank you, Edmund!! The bar/lobby area was a big plus for us for gathering. The night staff let us gather there late into the evenings and never kicked us out, we really appreciated that!
The rooms overall are slightly outdated, but were clean. Beds were made daily and extra towels and toiletries were given daily. I had a few dirty utensils in the sink and housekeeping even washed them for me.
Location is great for shopping and food. Thank you to the entire staff for the great service! I would stay here again.
Go to this hotel because the bar is so fun thanks to Edmund. He does an amazing happy hour. He’s fun, great service & wonderful personality. He will make your stay here at the hotel worth your time. Clean nice & fun hotel. The employees are the reason for such a nice place. Thanks Edmund for another wonderful visit and thank you to front desk, Mark and Israel who were always ready to help us. Friendly, kind, understanding, go beyond normal customer service. Thank you to Israel ! Mark ! & Edmund ! for your hospitality. These folks make it worth coming here. Amazing place.
Beautiful rooms, easy check-in and Laurie at the front desk is the friendliest and most helpful person I’ve met in a long time! All around great experience.
06/18/2024 Encountering a person who creates problems at check-in can make any stay unpleasant. This was the case at this hotel, where every one of my questions or requests was met with a NO.
The rooms did not meet the hotel’s standards, Dinner menu is just an photocopy with lack of tuner, and notably, in a location far from the city, they charge $5 for parking.
Conclusion, I do not recommend this hotel in case you have different options.
Check in process was super easy The room we got was simple but elegant. It was a very impromptu trip with my husband and three kids so we were lacking a couple things and the front desk receptionist Laurie was beyond helpful and kind!! She was really patient with me and went out of her way to make the stay much more comfortable for my family!
I enjoyed my start at the HGI. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The on-site restaurant with full service breakfast and dinner options is very nice to have. My only critique is the lack of daily housekeeping. Housekeeping is available on request, and when I requested they only followed through 1 out of 3 days. Not the end of the world, but also not a 5 star review. Overall, the experience was pleasant and I’d stay here again if in the area.
I have read a lot of negative reviews stating that the staff was the main reason for it. While my review of this hotel is not great, it has nothing to do with the staff. They were all very helpful and accommodating throughout my trip. First things first, this is not a 3 star hotel, more like a 2 star. I have stayed in much nicer motels than this. We checked in late at night, no problem. Upon getting to our room we quickly noticed that the wifi wasn’t working. Called the front desk and they remedied quickly. After that was done, I noticed that our door did not close/lock, you could just push the door open without a key. A little alarming considering we were there for work and had laptops/tablets/phones etc. I called the front-desk and maintenance was up there within minutes to fix. Still should not have to worry about things like this. The breakfast is not complimentary and overpriced. I paid $15 for eggs that were so undercooked they were inedible, bacon that was looked and tasted like it was sitting for days, and cold potatoes. When I told our waitress, she said nothing and just brought me my bill. There is a certificate/license of some sort in the elevator that I noticed expired close to a year ago. Shuttle bus was great. Restaurant for dinner and bar seemed to only be open when they felt like it. Pool area was fine although a little dirty and no towels available. The rooms/lobby and common areas were all dirty and stained as well. The price is extremely high for what you get here. There is another hotel right next-door in the same parking lot that I went to for a meeting and found it to be 100% better than the Hilton Gardens. For the price this was not worth the stay.
My service was great from the bartender Ashley! She is always a pleasure. A few weeks ago, I came in at 9:15 and had an issue ordering food. I am aware that the kitchen closes at 10:00 so I was confused on why it was an issue for me to order something from the grill. My only option was to order fry foods which was a very limited menu. Thankfully, Ashley convinced me to stay and try to accommodate for me to make me happy. When I finally decided on what I was having, I realized the cook, Sean, was nearby and felt negative energy like it was a bother. I get great service at the bar so I keep coming back, I just feel the kitchen staff needs to be more professional and welcoming.
Great staff – great service. Great first impression. Modern, clean rooms. Competitive prices. Really good food at the restaurant. Good burgers, flat bread and breakfast omelets. Ashley, the bar tender makes great drinks and is fun to talk with. Great personality. The office and front desk staff are very helpful and thorough. Excellent proximity to the airport. Will definitely stay there again.
stayed a week at this property. They made mistakes on my bill and I ended up paying $4600 instead of $2600. Nobody can seem to fix the issue and who knows when I get my money back. Ruined my vacation completely. Property was run down and I had to move to another room. Got stuck in the elevator for 5 minutes. Management was inefficient and seemed indifferent. Not using Hilton again unless this is resolved quickly. So much for an Honors member.
