Cleveland Hotels Featuring In-Room Jacuzzis and Hot Tubs: Google Reviews
I came and of course I was expecting the hot tub. I had wonderful service and was offered to upgrade my room to a woorpool, of course I went for that after a 20 hr drive. The rooms are very clean with comfortable bed. Everyone was super nice and very accommodating. But main, Kathy, was just outstanding. Very nice stay.
This HGI is fairly outdated – wallpaper is literally peeling off of the walls. If you can look past that there were additional issues as well. Bath towels did not appear to be properly clean – each bath towel I picked up in my hotel room had hair on it or woven into it somehow. The gym is very small and only 2/3 of treadmills were operational – one of which the incline did not work. There is a large stand for free weights that is missing every single weight. The elevators run extremely slowly. The location of the hotel is problematic at different times – there is a lot of congestion that backs up around 5PM. Diamond daily food and beverage allowance was not entirely properly applied. Upon arrival the front desk clerk seemed annoyed to have to interact with me; seeing her throughout the week this attitude persisted and despite my “good morning” or other pleasantries they were either not returned or only as an after thigh. No recognition of diamond status at check in; I did not receive bottles of water. The highlight of the stay was the staff in the garden for breakfast service – very friendly.
The front desk workers were fantastic. I only spent a single night but overall the hotel felt dated and kind of dirty. Not dirty as if they fail to clean it but that the carpets and walls just need updating because they’re aged. Had a cracked mirror in the doorway.
Biggest issue, everyone in my family felt vertigo in the building. I found on my way out of the building it was only on the upper floors. It felt as if the whole building was swaying. I’m curious if it is structurally sound.
Rooms are clean and comfortable . Very good food at their restaurant. The chefs and staff are great! And a nice area with plenty of stores and restaurants.
I did read about someone sensitive soul who had a complaint about the wallpaper. I don’t know about that but it was a clean quiet room with a good bed.
The wallpaper on my worst day is is about number 101 on my list of what matters princess….
Stayed here on a business trip. Rooms are a little worn and could use some updating however everything was clean and tidy. The bar/restaurant had a limited menu but the food and drinks were good and the service was great. Overall it was a good experience and I will stay here again for future travels.
This place needs a serious makeover!!! My first room has ants. The wallpaper is coming of the walls in places and there is was water damage on the ceiling in my room. The pool was out of order…not sure how that is even a thing for this hotel brand. This location was really not up to the Hilton standard. The rooms smelled old and dusty.
This is not a fancy or pricey hotel, but we had everything we needed. The rooms have plenty of space and there were no surprises. I was particularly impressed with the different people behind the desk. They are very helpful and polite!
Jennifer at the front desk was and is fantastic. She always greats you with a smile and makes you feel welcomed. Everyone here is very friendly and kind. My dad lives 30 mins away in Mansfield. We stay at this hotel because the service and quality of employees are so much better than the 5 other hotels right around the corner from his house.
There was a concert in Mansfield so they only had King rooms left but the room was clean the customer service was great and the breakfast the next morning was good I would definitely come back
This is not my first time at this particular Hotel chain but this is my first time at this particular location. Overall our stay was pleasant. The room is clean and the staff was very kind. If I were to find any criticism I would say that this particular location is in a small town and therefore seems to be looked over in terms of modernization and renovation of the location. I hope this review helps to bring this issue to the attention of those who are responsible for keeping their locations up to date and modern. I would still stay at this location but I think it still needs to be renovated.
Great Holiday Inn, in an area that is off in its own little area. Comfy, cozy and out in a very quiet town. Great for a get a way rest and a place that is quiet. The staff is great, and very kind. This is one of the better ones that I have been to. If you are in the area, I would suggest. Food options for dinner are not great in the area. So bring your own,.or expect to drive to pick something up. Door dash options are slim.
First time we stayed here, it was amazing, no complaints. Second time we stayed for our wedding and had tons of family coming in. We booked two rooms and one of them smelled as if someone was in the room smoking right then. I immediately went down to the reception desk, told them it smelled like smoke and requested a new room. I was met with complete attitude and she said “The best I can do is some air fresheners.” I told her that wouldn’t work as it smelled HORRIBLE. I told her I had booked a non-smoking room and expected a non-smoked in room. She told me the whole hotel was non smoking and she didn’t have any rooms available. I told her I knew that was a lie since tons of our family was coming and most hadn’t arrived yet. I was then told to stick my parents in that room and to take the clean room. I said absolutely not, and to assign us a new room. She called the manager and while on the phone, said “I’m gonna need those (hotel keys) back” and slammed them on the desk. She then got off the phone and gave me a new room. While swapping rooms, two women went in to “clean” it. They sprayed it with air freshener and walked right back out. Aside from the smoke and horrible receptionist, everything else was good.
