My wife & I have been to Cherry Ridge Retreat 7 times over the last few years with our last 3 day stay just ending! Since that first visit, CRR never fails to be the best place in the Hocking Hills for rest & relaxation and reconnecting! Perfect location with their own trails, cabins with so many amenities, so clean. If you haven’t tried Cherry Ridge, do yourself a favor, book now!!! You will not regret it!

The Ravine’s Edge new gazebo hot tub and woodburning fire place all in one is the boom!!! Fantastic! We absolutely loved it and you will too!! We’ve stayed 2 or 3 times in Ravine’s Edge and loved it and just this week in the new Ravine’s Edge. Great job Cherry Ridge!!

Winter is a beautiful time to visit Cherry Ridge Retreat! This is my fourth time visiting CRR, but my first with kids. The Lake House was perfect for our multi-generational group, with something for everyone. We enjoyed exploring the private trails on the property and seeing all of the wildlife right out of the kitchen window. The recreation room was perfect for family activities and games, the wood burning fireplace upstairs is always a favorite and the kitchen was well equipped for a large group — we felt right at home. The heated plunge pool was a new addition since our last trip and was a huge hit with our entire family. Our son is already asking to go back for another visit!

Our cabin was beautiful, secluded, and whimsical! I loved everything about our stay except for the fact we couldn’t stay longer. The staff was easy to reach, very kind, easy to talk to. Our cabin was clean, decorated appropriately, and had a great kitchen! We had massages in our cabin, which were amazing. They have so many options to choose from, it is hard to choose. The only thing I would recommend would be to have a Spa House. Most people trying to get away want to absorb the nature, peace, and tranquility. I feel having a spa house would enhance that feeling even more. The only downfall is you do not have cell service and you have to drive 20-30 mins to get gas, food, shops, etc. if you really wanted to explore. Overall it was one of the best cabin experiences I have had!

My husband and I stayed at the Observatory to celebrate my birthday and have some time away from the kids. We had the best time! The amenities were amazing, loved the towel warmer! We enjoyed our time in the hot tub and even braved the cold plunge! Snuggling by the fire was so peaceful. Not to mention, the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend!

Spent 3 romantic days in Oak Ridge cabin. Beautiful and relaxing. Massage chairs in upstairs movie room, private hot tub, gas fireplace between bedroom and living room, excellent kitchen. where we cooked up some decadent meals! Close to Hocking Hills attractions but deeply secluded. Good on-property trails. The in cabin couples massage was great.
Excellent, helpful, friendly, and informative staff.

We had a lovely stay at Cherry Ridge Retreat and highly recommend. The communication and booking were excellent. The property is exactly as advertised and shown in the pictures—some aspects even nicer than expected! We stayed in Ravine’s Edge and loved the outdoor spaces. We’ll be back when it’s warmer and we can spend more time out there. Kitchen is fully stocked and has everything we needed to cook all weekend. Comfortable bed, super clean, excellent water pressure and plenty of heat on very cold weekend. My husband is picky about comfortable chairs and he enjoyed the recliners, too. Thanks to the Cherry Ridge team for an awesome stay!

Most cabins include gas grills, hot tubs, fire pits, outdoor gazebos, bluetooth enabled sound systems, smart TVs, comfortable furniture and fully equipped kitchens. Whether you want a private cabin for a romantic getaway or a cabin fit for friends and family fun, they have what you need. The first thing we noticed upon arrival was how clean and well kept everything was and how thoughtfully designed and equipped our cabin was. The staff is wonderful and respects your privacy while letting you know they are available if you need anything. Overall, our experience while at Cherry Ridge Retreat was exceptional and we can’t wait to return!

Great 2 night anniversary getaway in the still waters cabin! Cabin was very clean, secluded & updated. Included fresh ground coffee was great! Overall organization for the stay was way above par. Their App was very helpful as well. We enjoyed the in-cabin couples massages. Hot tub was a highlight as well. On site hiking was beautiful & saw a bunch of wildlife. Had a red fox come right up to our cabin while we drank coffee on the porch in the morning. Got the fire package for nightly fire pit fires. That was relaxing but would suggest they add some kindling in for the $39 price as we had to go looking in the dark for some to get a fire really going. Had an amazingly delicious dinner at 58 West in Logan. Would definitely stay here again for a quick & relaxing getaway!

My husband and I had a great time staying at Cherry Ridge. The cabin was luxurious and private. Having our own hot tub and pool was a great experience.
We enjoyed the thoughtful details, like a well stocked kitchen, a dishwasher, lighted pool and cold plunge pool, interior sound system. The location was gorgeous and the view was great. We saw deer and a wild turkey from the window!
The check in process was easy, and they had great add on packages as well.
It was a relaxing haven after our outdoor adventures in the Hocking Hills region!

My husband and I stayed at Ravine’s Edge. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor space was more than we could have asked for. I really enjoyed sitting on the decks and bird watching. One night, we had two cute little visitors on the front deck – Flying squirrels. My husband enjoyed running all of the trails. The staff was even kind enough to let us tour the Lake House in preparation for a future visit. Such an amazing time – we will definitely visit again.

This is the most beautiful, relaxing resort! I surprised my husband for his birthday and we had a wonderful time. It is so peaceful and quiet, the cabin is impeccably clean and they have thought of everything with extra little details and amenities. We relaxed by the fire and enjoyed the hot tub. Restaurants are close by but next time we don’t plan on leaving the cabin. There are trails if you feel adventurous or you can just sit back and relax.

Beautiful and scenic lodgings at a decent price! All the amenities are there plus extra add on services like an in room massage and premium breakfast. They served snacks like popcorn and cookies in the evening near the breakfast and piano room. And each room has a huge personal Balcony, was too cold to hang out there but the view is nice! Staff was friendly. My only complaint was that the beds could be a little more comfortable but regardless we still got a good night’s sleep. Many shops and a couple of restaurants are within a short walking distance ❤️

Carlisle Inn is a wonderful place to stay! We hold our family reunion at the hotel, and the staff goes above and beyond to help us. The staff has become extended family, and the hotel feels more like home than a hotel! We absolutely love staying here and always look forward to our next visit! ❤️

Beautiful CLEAN rooms. They give out cookies and popcorn for nighttime snacks. Breakfast in the morning was free and had so many options. Beautiful location and hotel. The bed was so comfortable, too. Did I mention how CLEAN the hotel was. Very nice.

So happy i found this hotel online. As long as i stayed at any hotel in the US the last 4 yrs i live here, this one is my favorite one by far. Very nice room, nice furniture, gorgeous view and very nice staff. One think i wasn’t too happy about is i wish they serve other warm option menu for breakfast. We stayed one night. So i don’t know how they manage it on the other day. Was hoping to find any omelet or scrambled egg as the warm menu, instead just pork sausage and the gravy. We don’t eat that. But other than that, i love staying there and will stay there again.
